3rd darkness

Ooc: Now I'm going to give a *real* description of the sea elves castle. You don't have to read it if you don't want to; it's kinda bad.

Deep under the water, in a clear, calm bay, lies the castle of the sea elves.
It shines from the depths like some hoard of diamonds long lost to the sea. The walls are made of mother of pearl, shining pink beneath the sunlight, and magnificent spires, public rooms, and turrets shine of glass, causing rainbows to float on the surface of the water.
Around the castle is a wealth of coral, all colors and shapes imaginable. Through the crystal clear water one can sometimes catch a glimpse of the marvelous animals living there, perhaps catching food, or swimming above a cleared avenue leading to the treasure palace.
The castle seems in anther world, always quiet and still. If you watch long enough, you will become peaceful yourself, watching the rainbows and coral drift gently to the swell of the sea.

Melia jumped of Rynan and quickly drew her small axe. The men came towards them though one exploded. Melia prepared for battle, and waited.

[Legoles]

I think I'll introduce a scary extra plot twist....

Suddenly, many evil looking sea demons, some with silver, others pink, blue, or green skin crawled out of the water twords them.
"Oh *****ake mushrooms......" Ther'ese drew her sword and rna like greased lightning. "Yee-haw!" *chops heads off* "Uhh.... Yikes! The heads are growing back......" [y'know, those things look weird]

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

ooc: Oooo, scary extra plot twist indeed!

ic: "Then hit something other than it's head!" Rorin said as he rushed at the evil demon thing.

The situation had taken an unexpected turn. Instead of those two dark riders they had to deal with a great number of horrible sea-demons. One of the two riders was still alive though, while the other was lying around everywhere in tiny pieces, and he seemed to be on the same side with the demons. They not only left him untouched but the also seemed to be afraid of him. And that made Lefira think that the demons were nothing compared to the one tall figure standing in the middle of the attacking army of sea-demons. But those creatures were something compared to them. Not only that they outnumbered Lefira and her companions, they also seemed to be quite difficult to kill. They cut off their heads and new heads grew to the demons. The same unfortunately happened with legs and arms. And just stabbing a demon didn't have much influence on it either. They seemed to be invincible, but Lefira knew that everyone has its weak spots. We haven't find them yet, she thought, and if we don't discover them soon, we'll also end up lying around in small pieces. She raised her sword and rushed into the battle hitting the sea-demons around her though it didn't have much impact on them.

Ic: Kiara awoke to find her companions all about her.
"What happened?" she began, but the sounds of battle reached her ears.
She jumped up, wincing, took her arm blades from ___ (whoever nicely carried them) and strapped them on.
Looking around, she saw the demons.

"Nikasha!" Kiara gasped, and began looking for flint and steel, then thrust them at the nearest person.
"Fire will hold them off for now!"
She ran toward the water, slipping smoothly in.

Nikish is in the palace. I must get some of it before it is too late!

A slight disturbance in the water warned Kiara that some of the demons had entered the water after her.
She put on an extra burst of speed, hoping that the others could hold them off...

[Aewionen]

Melia caught the flint and steel and quickly prepared a fire. She grabbed a peice of wood and lit it like a torch. Unseathing her sword, she ran towards the nearest demon.

ooc: Kinda like the thing Aragron does to the Nazgul in FotR.

[Kalile]

Meanwhile, Kiara sped in a straight line down toward the castle, trying to outrun the demons.
Though she was fast, she knew that the Nikasha were faster.
Finally, a clawed hand gripped her heel, and she was yanked to a stop.
Kicking free, Kiara turned and attacked it with her arm blades, swimming backward. The two of them kept coming, and she sommoned up her magic, made stronger underwater, pushing water at the demons.
It hit them, and pushed them backward a ways, and Kiara turned to swim faster, sprinting toward the castle.

Lefira was in the middle of the fiercest fight, there were demons all around her and it seemed her that there were millions of them. She grew more tired by every second but the demons were still invincible. Someone shouted her something and she saw somebody running with something bright and yellow. Lefira had been cut off from the others by the demons and if she had been able to think at that moment she would have thought that the situation was pretty bad for her.

Rorin engaged in nearly hopeless battle with seemingly invincible monsters. At first he was certain that he would find some weakness in these creatures, but now he wasn't so sure. He took a desperate swing at on advancing demon, and put a large slice in it's side. He swung again, and clove the beast in two. It twitched, and remained still. That's it! he thought elatedly. He had found the weakness in the beasts, but there were too many and he was getting tired. He saw a flash of yellow and red, and heard shrieks of terror from some beasts. He tunred and ran for where the light was coming from.

[Kalile]

Kiara erupted from the water in a dolphin-jump, the wet leaves clenched tightly in her hand.
"Here!" she shouted, holding them aloft. "Crush these over your weapons!"
To demonstrate, she tore a leaf in half with a flash of yellow light.
Drops of yellow juice welled like blood from a wound to fall on her arm blades.
"Like this!"

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

Rorin took one of the leaves from Kiara and broke it over his axe. The yellow stuff dripped on it and fizzed a bit. He turned and sliced a head off of a demon. This time, a new one didn't grow back. He eagerly charged back into battle, having a much better time now.

Lefira felt the something was happening. Something good. Her situation was still bad but she noticed that the almost endless mass of fighting sea-demons grew smaller and smaller until the battle was finally over. A few demons, who were still alive, ran to the river and jumped into the water. The dark rider had disappeared.

Lefira was lying on the ground. She was wounded but not seriously. But she was too tired to stand up. She closed her eyes and rested.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

The great sea of demons gradually grew smaller. When all were either dead or had reatreatd, Rorin scanned the field for his companions. Rorin was scratched and bruised, but otherwise unhurt. He noticed Lefira laying on the ground. Fearing the worst, he rushed over to her. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that she was only wounded slightly. "Lefira, are you all right?" He asked.

[elixir]

Lefira didn't open her eyes. "I'm alive," she said, "but I'm so tired. Though I guess it's not the time for resting. I hope everyone else is ok."

[Kalile]

Kiara stood at the water's edge, staring into the sunset.
"I knew they weren't here, but this... emptiness is worse than I thought," she announced to the wind. "The Nikasha have returned, my father and my people are gone, and apparently I hold the key to some sort of treasure... What now?"

[Legoles]

"I do not know. Fortunetly I did not need to put hat stuff on me.

Though she was still dead tired, Lefira stood up and looked around. There were a lot sea-demons lying around everywhere, and almost none of them were in one piece. Her companions seemed to be all right, and she also noticed Kiara standing by the river and looking down. Lefira walked up to her and hesitated. It was obvious that Kiara wasn't all right, physically she was fine, but Lefira saw that her sorrow was deep, deeper than usually, and she knew why she was sad. Lefira had lost both her parents, and though Kiara's family was probably alive, she knew that she was fearing the worst. It wasn't the time for asking such questions, but to Lefira it seemed crucial to know as much as possible as soon as possible. So she asked her: "Kiara, what do you know of those who robbed you? I wouldn't ask it if I wasn't so important. One of them is dead, but the other escaped and I feel like he's the one we should fear most at this moment." I feel he possesses great powers, she thought.

[Legoles]

"Kiara." Said Ther'ese walking up next to her. "Isn't this the black river?"
