Kiara walked alone, stoney faced. Inside she may be broken, but outside she would always seem whole. Sitting here while her people suffered was terrible, and the guilt and sorrow that she felt welled up inside her until it was impossible to contain, and it poured out as silent tears. Blinded by her grief, Kiara almost tripped over Alexiel. She recognized the sleeping snow leopard (I can't believe I've forgotten how to spell that!) as a daemon, and bent over to wake him up.
She had time to register that he had blood in his fur before pain exploded in her skull and the world went black.

Kiara woke to find someone standing over her, heavily cloaked and hooded. She couldn't tell if they were male or female, but could not mistake the malevolent stare within the hood.
Movement made the princess turn her head. Alexiel was stirring, his fore and hindpaws tied together. Only then did Kiara realize that her wrists were likewise bound.
"She's awake." the harsh voice came from the hooded figure, and another person came into view. He was human, with a wild beard and dangerous eyes.
"So, your highness, you have told Elrond that we demolished your father's forces. Good. Let him waste his time there. You are the one we need. You are the key to the sea elfs' greatest treasure. We just need to figure out how..."
Alexiel growled, and the man stepped back. "What did you bring him for?"
The cloaked figure's voice was impassive, and sounded female. "He could have led the others to us."

Ther'ese felt a huge surge of power and stepped very far back. "There is something wrong here, whose energy was that, hmm let me think.... Kiara's. She must be in trouble, I guess I'll havta go save her butt, again!"

I turned to Ther'ese, and raised an eyebrow. "Your not going without us...or at least without me." I said, glancing quickly at the others. "I need to take my mind off of Alexiel anyway. He's probley fine, and I'm just worrying to much."

Lefira didn't say a word but joined others in the search for Kiara. She followed them a few steps behind, thinking. She was worried. They had just began their journey and already two of them were missing. "This is going to be more difficult that I imagined," she said to herself, "but first we have to find Kiara and Alexiel too, of course. They're both missing. Maybe they're together. It should be a good thing - that way they have each other at least." Lefira sighed. "I have nobody but myself," she thought sadly.

Anyway, somebody has to get into bad situations! And since you guys often don't want to, I do it.

"I'm not..... wait, if I remember correctly there is a mechanism that can bring you to your destination faster than you can run."

"Absolutely sure! I can just run there or fly."

no...... I really ment it. If you read the enchanted rivers thread, you will know that she has three powers so far. On:she can fly. Two: she can run extremely fast. Three: she can make a person pop out of thin air.

Running extremely fast, sure, but flying elves? Oh well, be what you want to be with all you super powers, it's not my RPG after all... I'm just happy that I don't have any of those...

yeah, eve the telepathy is a little much, I mean, if we are talking about tolkien here, and his elves, I think we are streching it. not against shiny fingers and super powers, but oh well, just a confused hobbit, *sits and eats tea* anybody want some?

me! okay Elixer your'e right. I end up being super elf again.... oh well. I declare that she can not fly, she just jumps well. The only reason she can make a person pop out of thin air is cause it's a gift she got for being in the black river, which comes with the price of evilness.

Of course, there's another, very bad, price to be paid: Ther'ese can never touch or be touched by anyone, except through gloves or something. So you can slap her on the back, but don't try to brush tears away!
