3rd darkness

"You have my sword, I am yours to command." Melia said as she stood and gave a bow. Aeldar poked his head out of the side of the chair and perked up his ears. Knowing that soon he would want to sit on someones lap even if he didn't know them, Melia smiled at him and picked Aeldar up and patted him on the head.

Lefira stood up and looked in the eyes of Elrond for almost a minute before she start talking: "I'm not an elf, Lord Elrond, nor am I a dwarf. I am just a human and I'm far from being perfect. I have many faults and weaknesses. I don't have the wisdom of the elves nor the strength of the dwarves. But I've come here to serve you and anyone else who fights on the side of light and goodness. I'll do anything and everything that I can to help us keep our land free from darkness and evil, even if it would cost my life." Lefira paused for a moment and then continued: "If you think that I'm worthy enough to travel and fight beside you all."

Celebre stood, "I for one would be honored to fight beside Lefira." she said standing alongside her. "I say she is as good as any to free middle-earth. " She said looking at her grandfather. "Yes, I agree with you Celebre, Lefira is welcome to join the fellowship." Elrond said nodding towards the woman.

Melia smiled,At least I won't be the only one of the race of men. Aeldar yipped happily in agreement.

Celebre smiled, she woul be happy to travel with such companions.

Celebre sat in the council, but her mind lingered. O her home, the white towers. On her father and mother. but most of all on Lorian. Celebre walked in the gardens of her home. "Celebre, my celegiliath." Her father said stroking her hair. "I do not bear the burden that you do," He said gazing at the red stone of Narya. "You really do love him, don't you?" He said turing her face towards his. "I do," she said loking into his eyes. He lauged softly. "your grandfather was wary of me too." He said with a far away look in his dark eyes. "I love you," He said to his daughter. Tears came to her eyes. "I love you too." she said embracing her father. suddenly she came back to the council. She sat erect and listened intently.

Kiara remained silent until there was a pause, and then delivered her message.
"Elrond, the King of my people sends you a message. I am his messenger." Her eyes unfocused for a moment, and then she spoke in a different voice. It was a man's voice, like and unlike Kiara's.
"Elrond, I send to you my only daughter, that she would help you any way she can. I must ask a boon in return. Our city under the water has long been proof against any attack from Sauron. This is no longer so, and we must again become known to the outside. Nothing has attacked us, but many of our number have gone missing, and the water is different. The ocean currents are wrong, and the animals are acting strangely. I am afraid that Sauron may have control of some terrible water army, and that he even now marches it against us. I may hear many things in the water, and I have heard the clank of armour from afar, and the clash of weapons. We-" Kiara's face changed, suddenly, as if she were puzzled. "Something is trying to change the message!"
A moment later her voice changed again, back to the man's.
"Elrond, can you hear me? I am changing the message even as my daughter speaks it. I pray you hear it now. An army of demons made of bones of sea creatures attacked my castle. We have been besiged for the many weeks since my daughter left. Those of us who are left are retreating up the River Anduin, to the Lake. It is only a matter of time until the river is closed to us. We need your help."

Melia looked at Kiara confused. What is going on?

EDIT: ooc: Are we fighting against Saruman or Sauron (or both) here? Because PippinTook said Saruman at the beginning but Kalile is talking about Sauron in her last post...


Lefira stood in the corner and looked at Kiara with concern. Then she began to talk in such a quiet voice that it was understood that she was talking to herself. "Even the waters aren't safe anymore, the shadow grows and grows and nothing will stay hidden from it. We must do something and we must do it quickly. But, as my father always said, even about small things, we need a plan and it has to be a good one."

Celebre stood, she was obviously disturbed. After a moment she spoke, "I had a dream, it was so clear I was afraid it was true," she said with a quiver in her voice. "In a large courtyard in a beautiful tower, there was a meeting. Elves sat around a table and spoke, I couldn't hear what they we're saying, but they seemed distressed. The head elf stood and spoke. Suddenly he collapsed." She stopped and tried to remember her dream. "The others gathered around him, the room grew dark." She paused. "I, I can't remember anymore." She said quietly taking her place. Elrond seemed disturbed. "This new found darkness disturbes me," he said sitting in his chair. Celebre knew that Elrond was pondering something, but she didn't know what. It disturbed her too, she didn't think it was just a dream.

Erm... I'm sorry, I thought that Sauron was the name in the beginning. Oops!

np, sauron ad saruman can get confusing, he shouldn't have named the two bad guys with similair sounds. anywho back to the rpg

"So, Saruman the White became Saruman the Many Colors, and the Many Colors have turned to black. I suspected it would," Elrond mused to himself. After a moment, he appeared to come to a desicion. "I will ask the King of the Eagles to help your people out, Kiara."

Elrond stood, "So, this is the Fellowship, your task is to travel to Mordor and bring Saruman the Black down from his throne." He said looking at each of them. "I have sent word to Gondor, and my army will help our cause." Celebre said steping forward. "Good, so here goes, the Fellowship again." He said leading them to the gate.

I followed the others out, my mind being taken over by thoughts of Legolas. I wiped away the single tear that fell down my cheek, and to my chin. I could not cry now, after all I pledged my alligence to Elrond, and I also swore to myself that I'd kill Suaron for taking away my beloved.
Even though Legolas was gone, I still felt his presence, which lingured most of all in my heart.

Melia followed the others out. She noticed something was wrong with Eviana. "Is everything all right?"

Celebr knew that she had chosen to go and fight, and she was willing. but omething in her heart lingered. She just felt like she wanted to go home, her mother was waiting, not to mention Lorian. She walked down the path, unaware of anything around her. She thought of her home and her sweet love, waiting for her to come back. It was too bad she was unaware, beause something was following them...

ooc: ok, getting a little mushy, sry, just getting my lovey-dovey girl side out, better now.

ooc: It's alright, Pippen. lol, I got that way with Legolas anyhow.

ic: "Yes, yes, everything is fine, Melia. Alexiel..." I glanced all around for my dear friend, but could not find her. "Alexiel...where did Alexiel go?" I cried. One of the others suggested that maybe she had not wanted to come, and had stayed with Elrond. "No, she is my daemon, she is not aloud to leave my side unless premitted too."

Lefira saw how worried Eviana was and she also started to worry that something bad might have happened to Alexiel. But she tried to calm and comfort Eviana: "She can't be far. Let's go and find her."

I nodded at Lefira, and tried to find Alexiel with my mind, but alas, I could not. As every moment passed by, I became more frantic.
