Is there a movie reference somewhere in all of that?

It's all pretty much inspired by The Godfather, but I think the only really direct thing is the dying while tending the tomato garden. I can't remember whether that was even in the movie or not. The sons sound similar to Sonny and Michael, but they're not supposed to be, and my sons will be very different (and there's no Fredo).

Yeah he does die in the tomatoe field in the movie.

Yeah, I thought the loyal sons who got tired ... was it "doing the job on someone"? ... sounded slightly mob-ish. My fiance would have known that... I fell asleep during the Godfather.
