Girls who shave their... arms?
Has anyone else noticed this phenomina? A lot of girls at my school have started shaving their arms. I think it's kind of odd. (but not any odder than the cultural habit of shaving your legs or under your arms, which I've always though a bit strange anyway ) Opinions? It just seems a little pointless to me...

I dunno!? Maybe they're going for that soft and shiny look? Who'd want shiny arms...? Certainely not me. Yeah, that is strange!

*shrug* You can't see my arm hair anyway. *squint* Nope. Guess it helps being lily white with blonde hair. Everything else must be shaved though. I can't stand it otherwise.

The ideal female body is overall smooth and soft, isn't it?
So if we are going to shave our arms, we might as well do the rest of our body. Like BoP. Except our heads. And you know, some men are into it as well. They pluck their backs and chests!

Shaving your arms (ha ha ha ) would make your female body rough and raspy like sand paper! It would be nice and itchy growing in too. If you have so much time on your hands that you obsess on yourself to the point of unecessary arm shaving you need Anduril's Prozac (I'll send you more Anduril, don't worry! ) and maybe some attention! Honestly, you'd have to do it everyday! As if the armpits, legs and eyebrow plucking isn't enough! Of course, It's a free country, shave away if that's your thing! ......snerk! (thanks Tano)

Personally, I must admit I'm just too lazy even to do armpits and legs all the time. That hasn't scared anyone off yet. And I've never, never done eyebrows.

My friend shaved her arms because she said it helped her swimming??? I dunno, but whatever peels your banana, right?

Elite swimmers shave their bodies to reduce friction in water. Your friend must either be a very fast swimmer, or a over-ambitious one.

I've never had to pluck my eyebrows thank herakles. Bikini lines are painful enough.

I know a guy who shaves his arms, but I refuse to shave mine. The hairs on my arms can't even be practically seen as it is, so I'm happy.

i would never shave my arms... thats just weird. i know a girl who does though. it feels really weird. i like my arm hair thank you. i also know a couple people who have tried to shave their eyebrows. i pluck, but shaving? thats just wrong. and it looks really funny too. my dad once shaved his eyebrows off then got mad when no one noticed, so he shaved the rest of his head...but i mean shaving as an alternative to plucking or waxing? weird... oh yeah i know people who shave their stomachs too.

I shaved my arms once, years ago. I don't know why, a silly teenage thing I guess. I used to pluck my eyebrows, but now I'm too lazy and it hurt too much. Its not like I have a monobrow anyway. I suppose if you had really hairy arms you would want to shave them.

Well my hair is really light so you can't see it. I don't think I'd ever want to shave it...
I only shave my legs and underarms because I just can't stand to be hairy. It just doesn't feel right! But I do make sure and shave my underarms if I'm gonna wear a sleeveless top, cause otherwise that'd just be gross!
