OK, in honor of Valentine's day on Thursday, I am making a list of things I love. Feel free to add your own.
1. chocolate 2. music 3. my dog 4. being at Entmoot 5. going to the movies 6. acting 7. singing 8. laughing until my sides hurt 9. band class 10. God & Jesus, and the Bible 11. my parents 12. reading 13. playing soccer 14. my school

1. God 2. Friends 3. Email, so I can write to friends 4. My stuffed animals 5. Laughing and smiling 6. My school (I go to a wonderful Christian college called Asbury) 7. Being out in nature 8. Biology class 9. Anything sweet

(Been doing it since I was little and I dont intend to quit any time soon. Notice the title of the thread is asking what people like not what they hate? Your just looking for any excuse to make people mad.
We just had 3,000 of our citizens die because of that kind of animosity towards the U.S. Maybe you should try utilizing the little bit of tact that you have when talking about such a touchy issue. What's wrong with being a patriot to one's own country..you don't see anybody coming on here saying "I hate those stupid cocky austrailians because they think there country is better." Most people are loyal to their country and think there's is best and there is nothing wrong with that. Just because people don't expeirence immediate waves of revulsion when reading your post doesn't mean they are boring. I enjoy conflict. Logical conflict. What you call conflict is two people throwing 2nd grade insults at each other with various curse-words mixed in. This is a conflict most of us stopped enjoying 2 or 3 years before we got out of grade school. I encourage you to do the same

I hate overly patriotic people, too. they suck. Especially this one dude i saw, riding a motorcycle with a huge 5x8ft american flag on the back, two big ones on either side, and two small olympic flags on each of the handlebars. He had a big eagle on the back of his leather jacket, and his little radio was playing "born in the USA" i think.
Anyways, how come no ones said "i love rock and roll" yet? Goons! All of you!  (and i mean that in the nicest of ways)

Yes, some Americans are cocky, but that's beside the point. The intention of this thread is for people to list what they love, not hate. Wanna tell what you hate? Find the What ticks you off thread, it's around here somewhere. And Ryan, the guy you were describing sounds to me like he was just supporting his country, just like everyone else. You have no reason to say he was being cocky.
Additions to my list my country (I have had a big American flag sticker on my locker since Sept. 11, how's that for being patriotic, LB and Ryan?) Yes, I love rock 'n' roll, Ryan, but I thought that fell under the category music. my friends summer camp doing sign language

I'm finding it very interesting that a lot of you have mentioned God as one of the things you love. I didn't know that there were so many people here who believed in Him. I actually don't, but I think it's neat that you guys do. Anyways, here's my little list, in no particular order:
1) LotR and Entmoot 2)Nature 3) Plants 4) horses 5)writing 6)drawing 7)reading 8)singing 9)listening to music 10) attempting to dance 11)America and every other country/person who's helped us out since Sept. 11 12)Free time (which my teachers refuse to allow me to have) 13) sleep (which I don't get b/c I'm either on Entmoot or doing homework) 14)Climbing trees 15)being healthy (which I'm not doing right now. Darn the common cold . . .) Legolas_bowking, people other than Americans are cocky too. It ain't just us.
