Which LOTR character would you be?

Okay, I'm not trying to promote a site, but this one has a really cool test you can take to see which LOTR character you are most like. It's at www.hobbitlore.com if you've never taken it. I turned out to be Frodo Baggins, son of Drogo

Lucky 'lil me

Take the test and tell me which character you're most like!

I took the test and it said I'm more like Frodo Baggins.

According to that test, I'm most like Sam's dad, the Gaffer!

As if I needed something else to make me feel old…

I took it twice. At first I got Gimli, but that didn't seem like me. So then I got Beregond...okaay...I've never exactly placed myself in his shoes but...

Hum I got Boromir and Beregond.

I like this better than the one I posted before, more choices.

I too got Beregond. They had me pegged pretty well, for the most part. The poll is based on the books, not the movies, so I moved it to this forum.

You are most like
Meriadoc (Merry) Brandybuck

See Merry's leadership role in the Battle of Bywater (1419).
You are probably not shy in stepping forward and taking charge. Social interaction energizes you. The more people the merrier. You have a tendency to introspection. In your desire for clarity in life, you may have the tendency of being remote or even "heartless". You try to schedule your life as much as possible. You tend to finish your work before resting.

As the foil to Aragorn, Sauron clearly embodies the evil side of this personality.

Traits: Pragmatic, autonomous, ingenious, resolute. On the dark side you could desire power and domination.

Cool! I was ......

Legolas, Son of Thranduil

[You are most like Legolas knows his way around in the world, with a keen understanding of nature.

He is often oblivious to the pain and fatigue of his activities. Though reserved, you excel in aesthetic endeavors. If a mountain is there, you will climb it. Time alone is important and solitary activities refresh you. You have good observational skills. While providing compassion and being considerate, you may have the tendency of being soft-hearted or even "too emotional" You like keeping your options open. Closure is probably not one of your strong suits.

Like Boromir, you are not content to sit on the sidelines while the action takes place around you.

Traits: Open minded, easy going, persuassive, optimistic about the future. On the dark side you could be exploitative and an opportunist

That was cool! And hello to everyone I'm new to the board, but not to Tolkien!

Heh. I got Gimli, took it again and got Galadriel. Hmm, not what I expected, 'cause on other personality tests I've gotton Legolas or Aragorn, pretty consistently. Personality tests are pretty wierd!

RE

You are most like
The Dwarves

As the halls of Moria show, Dwarves like building and inventing.
The world exists to be explained and analyzed. You prefer to work quietly without interruption. Time alone is important and solitary activities refresh you. You have a tendency to introspection. In your desire for clarity in life, you may have the tendency of being remote or even "heartless". You like keeping your options open. Closure is probably not one of your strong suits.

I took the test again, and I still got The Dwarves!

The Dwarves! The Dwarves! I don't think I'm like a dwarf

I got Galadriel and Frodo...

Interestingly enough, both times I got 'the orcs represent the evil side of this personality' and 'on the dark side, you could be sadistic'.

Hmmm... They got Burghash (my darker half) right... and I suppose Galadriel and Frodo are both similar in traits to Edrandir (My good half). Although neither is jubilant enough.

Ask Inolondil. If there's a limit, he'll know what it is.

I got Aragorn too.
These personality tests are just giving me weird results. He'd be one of the last people I relate to.
Oh well. That was fun.

I'm a Sam! I never really pictured myself as him though, I always thought myself as more of a Pippin... I always do and say the wrong things at the worst times.
