Disaster in open house

Oh i had such a wonderful time last night! I brought my dog in to groom him for my animal care class for open house and it didn't work out at all! He hated the floor because he kept slipping on it and i had to set a trail of towls to the grooming table and i couldn't get him on the table at all! i finally got a muzzle on him and he calmed down and i got him up on the tabnle, which he was scared of bacause it move and he almost hung himself because he was hooked up to a metal bar over his head (he is fine thank god!) and my teacher had to tie him up to the bathtub and i had to do everything there so he wouldn't strangle himself again and he started this whining and shivering and i couldn't get him all the way dried so he almost caught a cold when i took him home and ohhh i feel so embarressed now because everyone was looking at me and my shivering bathtub dog!

Now that's a picture I'd like to see!

I wouldn't have wanted to see that. (speaking from experience with our dog). Somehow I doubt it will be much better next time either.

You cannot get a cold from being cold.....

That may be true, but there are always strains of the common cold laying around near you, and cold weather weakens your immune system.
