Celebration!

I'm in the progress of making my 408th post!

*leans to his assistant, who whispers in his ear*

Why the celebration? Because when you read this, I'll have made my 408th post!

*assistant whispers in his ear again*

People celebrate their post counts all the time!

*assistant starts to whisper, then gives up and yells...*

Assistant: "WHY 408?"

Why not? People set arbitrary goals for themselves all the time! I just met one of mine (which I set about a minute ago)!

So, let's party!

Re: Yay!

Congrats! An Entdraught would be lovely, thank you. Need help carrying things up from the cellar?

No bourbon for you!

The only alcohols in this house are brewing down in the basement, and those are 3-ethyl-5,5-dimethyl heptanol compounds...

Drink at your own risk.

*gestures to a guest with a green face, running around frantically and bumping into people, who promptly spontaneously combusts*

"Hmmm... maybe I shouldn't have put it in those single-malt whiskey bottles..."

Re: No bourbon for you!

You want some REAL liquor?

Down here in the South Farthing, we make some white lightning corn liquor that will curl the hair on your toes!

My Grandpa (before he became a minister) used to brew the purest, clearest, potentest bootleg whiskey you ever sipped. The fact that he was a Yankee determined to fit in with his Southern wife's family might have had something to do with that. He wasn't a Yankee no more after that.

I've had some hooch that actually had a slightly blue tint.

Everything was fine, until I stood up. After that, I don't remember a lot.

Heh... Would that explain your... um... deadness?

Or were you tasting my supply of "Single-Malt Whiskey", too?

I think JL is more than a little overworked.

You couldn't be more wrong.

I handily finished my task-du-jour with managing to still get 7 full hours of sleep.

The next week's going to be a breeze, more or less...
