Nautipus began adjusting his armor, but it still fit well. He fastened the long dagger into a notch at the end of his ancient sword, and then slid it into its holster on his back. The old hemet came last, its spires standing up on end, and the infamous design over the left eye shone. He readied the rest of his gear and went into the Aquarium to do some final adjustments on the automatic feeders and the shared sump.
He said goodbye to Brutus, as he could not cross that great an expanse of dry land, and went to the door where Hector was getting his bearings.
"I think we're just about ready"

"Mirkwood?" Sis shakes her head and goes back into the kitchen, heading out the back door.

"no way I'm going according to a map hector drew. Real map to real destination." She almost trips over some low energy form of monster who's lying across the doorframe. "And GW better figure out a way to keep these critters in line, or there will be a big smokin' hole where the Teacup is when and if these characters get back."

"Yuck! First I am reduced to "the kissing antidote" and now some monster who doesn't even know me is telling me he loves me while kissing my arm? What is it with me and this sort of thing!?"
Annoyed Mari pulls her arm away from the monster and decides it is time to get things done. And to get away from the various monsters who may be cute and loveable at some moments but very annoying at others...
"Everyone! I'd like to know who is going and who's going where? Will we split up to get the ingredients or what? And are we done with the preparations? If so, let's make the final decisions and be on our way!"

"Okay" said sas as he put his pack on his back and drew his war hammer, "let's get started. Fredrico says he will come only if hector wants him to." he said as he fastened his gauntlets,"I hope you know where you're going Hector!"

Sir Greye_Wolfe comes out of the Café entrance in his shining suit of armour - drags the Luving Monster off Mari's arm and shoves him into a cage nearby and locks the gate.

"Don't worry, Sister, I'll keep the Monsters in check from now on."

He motions for his mount to brought forth by his squire.

Impatient with the jabbering, and aching to get on the trail, Hector begins to kick some butts into action.

"Come on folks, it's a long way to Mirkwood, and we need to get a headstart!"

With those words, Hector begins to walk down the trail...

Oh well. Better stay close in case there is trouble..." And with that she went after Hector and GW, trusting Aeran would come after her with Bunicula.

Sane wearily eyed up the fop on the black horse and mounted her paint Mustang gelding, and fell inline with her Merry Banditos. Sane whipped her head around though, in search of Sis amidst the gathered rabble, and found the saucy woman near burried amidst all the chivalry.

Grinning ear to ear, Sane spurred her mount and scooped up the woman, later depositing her on her own horse. Though privately Sane wondered if she could ride.

WE ARE LEAVING NOW!!!!" said Sas,and with that a huge troll fell-beast half breed came charging,roaring and thumping it's chest while a very larg axe floped on his back."Mari I'd like you to meet Fredrico!" he said as he climed on Fredrico's back and put on his helmet "We ride!!!"

Surprised Mari jumped aside when some strange creature came thumping by.
And here I was thinking I'd seen everything...!
"So I have to ride in order not to get behind eh? No chance I could get on a horse with someone else? I seriously dislike riding, though I guess I could manage if I have to... Perhaps Hector and I could share a ride? Useful in case he turns to stone again. (poor horse!)"
