i think galadriel looked stupid, with the dumb smile in RotK, and the would be all "wise and powerful" thing in FotR. . . .

I liked Galadriel in the movie. On the whole that is (not her big ears and bare feet). Crazy Squirrel is right, she did look like an evil witch, a very clever, cold and calculating one. That was my POV from the books anyway.

I thought Celeborn was redeemed in the EE, for having only a half of one line in the Fellowship can't show much of anything. I actually liked the portrayal of Celeborn in the EE. Catladriel on the other hand, nearly destroyed the image I had of Galadriel from the books. Peter, you could have done better here, and left Cate as Elizabeth and Audrey.
