Re: Downloadable trailers ...

Seems that movie-list.com is still okay.

I have found it interesting that certain posts made to feedback at AICN containing URLs for the trailer are not listed anymore.

What are they so concerned about? :/

Re: Downloadable trailers ...

The sites still carrying the trailer may have paid for the privilege. Hence, New Line would have to ensure that non-authorized sites go down fast in order to maintain the value of their contracts.

That is just a guess. I do not have any inside information on the matter.

Re: Help!!!

QuickTime (version 5 i think) is required to play the preview. If you haven´t it you can download from loroftherings.net or form the Apple site.

If you already have it i don´t know what can be your problem.

Re: Help!!!

Actually, you have to have at least Quicktime 4 (close enough ). QT4 can be downloaded from the sites that FM mentioned.

But make sure that you don't download the trailer from the offical movie site, it cannot be saved from there. I would suggest downloading it from here.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Praise the Lord!!!

I have died and gone to heaven!!!!

Thanks to all for the help. I, too, was able to get QT4 and download the trailer yesterday. I've probabley seen it 15 times since, shown 4 other people, and have a huge puddle of drool on the floor in front of my PC.

This is going to be absolutely incredible!!! Now I just have to survive life until the summer of 2004 so I can have all three movies in my possession and sit down for a complete showing of the whole story. After that, I can die a happy man. Well, maybe after 20 or 30 more complete viewings.

Thanks again to all for your help.

trailer

Yes, there is a God!
After much work and sweat and the occasional profanity, I finally managed to see the trailer. It took me four hours, but I saw the full version one and it looks pretty good, allowing for the fact that the trailer visuals are not as clear as the final version will be. I think the movies will be very cool and I can't wait to see 'em and own 'em.
I can't wait!

Re: trailer

I think some of the orcs look like ents. I mean in the part when they march pass the Mt. Doom. Look at their feet!

But who cares... It's only a test...

Re: trailer

I thought the orc marching thing looked incredible, I was amazed when I read they were only testing the program.

Re: 6 days till the preview!

i have not seen it either. why? because i the only place i can find it now is LotR.net, & if i'm going to wait 4 HOURS to download a preview i'd better be able to save it & watch it again, ( anduin, your link isn't working). are there any sites that still have the savable form?
