EntQuest, the Battle for Hector.

[The Sasquatch of Fangorn]

"Acally!" Sas wisper-yelled, "Don't do it!!!!!" Fredrico, thinking they were going to fight stood up at full height, spread his wings, and roared very loudly. "Well! We can kiss hiding goodbye!" said Sas to Hector as he jumped up also and drew his war-hammer

[Mari]

Finally Mari understood that there was a lot more going on then she had had eye for. She took in the situation, scooped up Bunicula, got on Aeran and jumped towards the rider, wanting to inquire after the riders identity and purpose. Quickly she whispered an apology to Bunicula, before speaking to the rider in a clear voice: "Hello! My name is Mari. I'm very sorry about Bunicula biting you, are you okay?!"

[The Sasquatch of Fangorn]

"Mari! wha-" when Mari jumped so did Fredrico, and stared to fly around the rider, which Sas knew was a sighn that he was going to attack. "Mari! Sir! Look out!"

[Acalewia]

"What the bloody hell?" Acally breathed as Sas, Fredrico and Mari came out of hiding. The bow was still taunt. "My question still stands," What the hell was Mari doing?

"It's all-right Fredrico!" said Sas in an attemept to calm him down. Fredrico eventualy stops. "Your lucky I don't let him beat the living crud out of you!" said Sas sticking out a hand to help Mari up. "Just who are you anyway?!" asked sas as he cluched his war-hammer in one hand. "Now, I wouldn't advise trying anything funny! You've got Acally with a bead on you, Me who'd be right glad to bash you're skull in, Arean of who's master just tackeld you, Hector who's in hiding somewhere but I'm not going to tell you where , and you've got my little freind here who, was just going to go hunting so he's pleanty hungry!"

[Mari]

"Now now Sas, no need for hostilities. If this good man would have wanted to hurt us, he could have done so a while ago. As I said earlier, my name is Mari. You are?"
Mari was hoping very hard that she was right about this...

[Grey_Wolf]

Sir GW wondered what was going on. One TeaCupper in particular seemed about to unleash several arrows at the group.

'Here I thought that we were all one happy family - just on our way to find a cure to Hector's imminent petrification. And almost having my rear chomped off and then not, by an insane flying creature, was something to be grateful for. (since i apparently was the lone rider, for some reason)', Sir GW thought.

OCC: THIS IS VERY CONFUSING. I THOUGHT I WAS PART OF THE GROUP and then I WAS NOT.

Just then, Earniel's parrot arrived. "One of Sis's Carrier pigeons sent me. Supper is served."

The parrot departed, shaking its beak.

occ to Sir Grey. Don't worry. People get confused, in the woods. They went off the path, following hector, and spied you 'round the bend.

[Acalewia]

Acally lowered her bow.
"GW, we could have killed you!" She looked over at the others. "Sorry about that, but you really don't need to sneak up on us like that," She glanced around again. "Now, where did Hector go?"

[Mari]

"Hmmm, indeed it is Sir Grey Wolf! It must have been the position of the sun blinding us for us not to see it sooner."
Mari turned around at Sas and asked him if he had found Hector. When Sas said yes and pointed to where he was, Mari went to check on Hector and told him that Sis had supper ready. Then she took Bunicula in her arms, got on Aeran and went to find some water to get the blood of Bunicula. She would head for the camp and its promise of supper after that.

[Nautipus]

Nautipus rode up to the scene, "Hey guys, Acally I see you found your way ok. Does anybody know whatg time....What the hell happened here? GW are you okay?!"

[Grey_Wolf]

"Quite alright, friend Nautie and my dear Acally." said Sir GW."With the light in your eyes it wasnt to easy for you to see who I was. And, indeed, its me, my dear Mari."

[The Sasquatch of Fangorn]

"Ummmmm.....oops!" said Sas sheepishly "Sorry GW! Next time make yourself know sooner!" Fredrico gave a sheepish growl, "He says he's sorry."

[The last sane person]

Meanwhile back at the ranch...er..I mean, campsite...Sane and her Banditos were busy perparing dinner under Sis's watchful eye.

"I hope people like venison..." Mondago (A very Merry Bandito indeed) wondered aloud, as he basted the stag.

"And for my part I hope they don't kill themselves before dinner time on the first day." Sane noted from her hammock, upon taking a head count and finding a majority of the group gone a-missing.

[Nautipus]

Nautipus followed behind those on foot, and said aloud "Wow, something smells great. I wonder what we're having..."

Riding with Sane on her horse, Hector griped at his misfortunes.

But he brigtened at the prospect of food.

Sis settled down comfortably next to Sane in the hammock. "Banditos are doing a great job, as usual," she commented. "What chance do you suppose we have to get this group even to the King's trail?"

[The last sane person]

Finally with everyone back at the campsite, and dinner about to be served, Sane dismounted (for somehow she had sprung onto her horse and picked up Hector, in the moment it took her to get up from her hammock), and started serving out the venison and other side dishes. Noting GW's somewhat tenderly sitting upon a coushion, she wondered exactly what had happened during their little side misadventure.

Witht he loverly Sis sitting beside her on the hammock (Once Sane had gotten herself a plate of food and returned to it), Sane grinned.

"With my Bandito's...probably a 50/50 split. Without them, no way in hell. I wouldn't be surprised if we somehow ended up in the furthest reaches of Harad on a chase after something completely different."

Sitting near the campfire, Hector looked up at the trail they come down. He could still see the top of the tree that the Teacup was built into. He sighed. "We're never gonna get outta here..."

[Nautipus]

"Maybe we should all stay together, and not wander off without telling anyone" said Nautipus, shooting Hector a sharp look.
