tolkienfan came out of hiding to rejoin the group. "What? The last time someone tried to force me to squaredance they didn't end up so well. Just wanted to spare all of you. So we're heading to the Barrow Downs now?"

Sane had been scouting ahead with her Banditos while the troop had been dancing the night away. She approached once more with her men, having judged that the coast was clear. For the most part.

Dismounting, Sane walked over to where Sis and Mari were standing, saying their goodbyes. "Road is clear ahead for the next three leagues, beyond that there are a fair few elven encampments, and about two large bands of orcs just beyond them. How was the dancing?"

Sas heard sane telling Mari and Sis about the band of orcs, turned, and said "Orcs, huh? Good! I needed a stress reliver!"

Acally's ears perked up when Sane told the group of the camp of orcs.
"As long as they don't try ballroom dancing with us, I'll be fine with facing Orcs," She said. She had managed to steer clear of the squaredancing moonshine farmers.
"Are orcs and Elves all that you saw?"

"Yeah, roughly 30 orcs per band, so large-ish is a good description. One of the bands has a few mounted on Wargs, the second band may have had a troll. Not too sure, just found tracks, not the actual troll." Sane remounted with relative ease, and took a swig out of a hip flask; her personal stock of stress (and pain) reliever.

"Hoy there Kat, good to have you here. I figure I could count on you to know whether there are any good inns or wenches anywhere up along our road?"

"Oh, I can point you to the best of them. Kinda surprised you don't know em (or used em) all yourself though." sayeth the Katt with a nudge nudge and a wink wink.

Grinning, Sane replied "Well, those years have ended for now. Least for me, my work doesn't allow me those luxuries so much anymore. ALRIGHT! Sis, shall we move the herd out then?"

Still grinning, Sane obliged and kicked her horse into a lively gallop and gave a warcry, causing the various mounts belonging to the rest of the party to obligingly leap forward to keep the pace, regardless of whether their riders wanted to or not.

And so it was that the band of adventurers and their steeds thundered down the path, leaving the Teacup behind them in their quest for glory and potion ingredients.

Far ahead, the Orcs were having a Jamboree, blissfully unaware of the stampeding herd of adventurers coming at them.

"This da stuff, man!" said one Orc to another, taking a swig at a bottle and handing to his mate and then it went around the gang, while they were all sing old Scout songs.

The Trolls who was heavy into Heavy Metal, had set up a stage by the side and were playing like mad and the Wargs howled in time with the "music".

Mari smiled at Sas hoping that that would take some of the edge of her words.
