This is Azalea -- I have edited this post completely because it was full of off-topic content and flaming. Please do not call people names, and stay on the topic, which is "Reaction to and analysis of the film Farenheit 9/11 by those who have viewed it."

To everyone: I have edited other posts as well. This topic has really gotten out of hand. It needs to get back on topic WITHOUT the flaming, flame-bait, and personally-directed comments. I don't want to have to close this, but I will if necessary, or ban specific people from the thread. You know the rules. Follow them. Anyone disregarding this warning will be seen as defying an admin, and will be dealt with accordingly.

Now have fun discussing the film!

well, i still recommend the movie, though it's main goal (to get bush off the throne) wasn't reached.

You know, I *still* haven't seen this movie. It's not that I don't want to, cos I do, but I just don't wanna see it at the movies... Will wait for the DVD, methinks.

Here's a thought. Some people (including Michael Moore himself) have mentioned putting Fahrenheit 9/11 up for the Best Picture Oscar. Since it ultimately failed in its purpose, do you think it'll even get a nomination?

I think Hollywood will stay clear of it. As has been mentioned by some news programs - there could be a serious backlash against Hollywood if this propagnda piece was nominated (they did say it would be far worse if it actually won though).

Hobbit - I am open minded - I did see quite a bit of the movie. I also saw the many interviews Moore did - inclyding where he acknowledged where much of the truth was exagerated and that editing was required to demonstrate his view poiint. You can be condescneding all you want to me - I don't really care. [Flamebait Deleted] Also - you might want to talk to the family of the soldier's funeral that Moore used without their permission - or maybe the things he had to acknowledge were lies.

For your information - I know people who have seen the movie and don't agree with it - so don't tell me what I think. I am arguing with people who actually SAY they agree with this propaganda piece (now or in the past).

I don't care what you say Millane - you don't what I know, who I have talked to, or that I don't only talk to people on the board - but also off the board which gives me an idea of what they think which is NOT posted on Entmoot.
