favorite dogs...

have been our chow/German sheppard mutt, I've had two females that were so sweet. I like Cocker Spaniels, and Labs, and Golden Retrievers too, mainly medium to large dogs with fur not "hair", and soft paws not little stick legs!

back to vacations

maybe i'm just lucky - my whole family reads on vacation. one of the best trips i've had was when my fam. went to the american southwest, hiked all over the place in teh early mornings (sunrise among the old cliff dwellings - nicely spiritual), read books durign the hot parts of the day, & went hiking again in the evenings. i think that was when i discovered Isaac Asimov...

and the first time i read LotR was during the next year's vacation.

aryne *, a definite CAT PERSON hehehe

Re: back to vacations

That must have been a fun one.
What types of books do you usually read?

Re: back to vacations

That's what I mainly read as well. My favorite authors so far for it are Robert Jordan, Timothy Zahn and Terry Brooks. Michael Stackpole is good too, but he's not my absolute favorite. What are your favorite authors?
