My cat likes to climb with me too, but i try to discourage him. I think that's how he broke his leg a few monthes ago. Either that or he fell off the stairs.

Climb trees barefoot is theonly way to climb, you have to comune with the tree.

thats a nice way to put it. i agree. commune with the tree...you feel more connected when you are barefoot. i dont think my cat climbs very ofter; only when he sees me. but it takes him a while still.

Yeah, I don't think my cat climbs much when I'm not there, but even when I am there it makes me nervous. He fell the other day! While I was standing there! Fortunately he fell into the bushes not onto the deck. Ai, he's an insane little cat.

What does everyone think about climbing birch trees? I don't remember anything being said about that, though I have not been around in awhile. Nimorn was a birch tree, but besides that I don't climb them because their bark always breaks and gives me cuts when I'm climbing barefoot.

Birches are too soft to hold up a big lummox like me.

I like a good red maple for climbing.
