A Very Special Simpsons LOTR remake

Not sure if this thread should be in LOTR Movie or Entertainment Forums, but.....

In a blatant imitation of remake threads in Movie and Silmarillion Forums, how about a Simpsons LOTR movie? After all, Shakespeare's been done all kind of ways. Could it be one to rival PJ's or Bakshi's (who actually had some nice bits, including Flight To The Ford)?

Cast ideas:

Sauron---Mr. Burns
Gollum---Smithers
Eowyn---Lisa (she'd also have to be director, being probably the only one who read the book since Ned Flanders would be afraid of satanic influences).
Krusty the Clown---Otho Sackville-Baggins (he'd be mc at the Birthday Party:
"You people are REALLY gross!"
"Take my wife Lobelia, PLEASE!!!

Moe needs to be Elrond.
Comic Book Guy is Gandalf.
Patty and Selma can be Arwen and Eowyn, respectively
Reverend Lovejoy can be Saruman

Well, that would tend to explain Viggo's reluctance to be King.

Oh, also, how about Bart's teacher and principal Skinner as Galadriel and Celeborn?
Galadriel: " Boromir, you stay right here and write 100 times, 'I will not try to steal Frodo's Ring'."

Sorry, but it would have to be Mayor Quimby for Saruman!

Flanders for Aragorn.

I think Bart would actually have to be Frodo, but the Janitor guy (can't think of his name at the moment) would make a good Witch King.
And though I seem to be having massive trouble remembering names this morning, Homer's bar buddies (Lenny and ?) might work as Gimli and Legolas.

Grandpa Simpson as Denethor.

Denethor could be one of his buddies (like the one in the wheelchair). Grandpa would make a great Theoden!

While Bart would be a good (bad) Witch King of Angmar, he wouldn't get enough screen time.
Specifically, how about Fellowship casting? So far it could be:

Gandalf---Comic Book Guy (Shaz-bat!)
Frodo---Bart
Merry---???
Pippin---???
The fat hobbit---???
Aragorn---???
Boromir---Homer
Legolas---Carl
Gimli---Lenny (a little tall, but special effects and camera angles could be used)

As to Grandpa Simpson as Denethor or Theoden, a tough call.
But if he was Denethor you could have him remonstrating with Faramir over Boromir's death. Oh, and how about Homer's long-lost rich brother, can't think of his name (voice of Danny Devito) as Faramir?

All casting is subject to change and creative input.

Boromir: "Gimme' that ring, boy!!!"
Frodo: "No way, man!"
(Boromir attempts to strangle Frodo)

Aragorn---Principal Skinner
Boromir---Homer
Legolas: Troy McClure "also seen in such hits as..."
Gimli: Groundskeeper Willie (even has a Scots accent)
Gandalf---Apu or Comic Book Guy (Shaz-bat!). On second thought, CBG might have trouble getting through Moria, especially climbing the stairs and leaping across gaps, so how about Apu as Gandalf and CBG as Saruman?
Although Apu could also be head of the Easterlings (his immediate family would almost be an army).

Also, if Skinner is Aragorn then Edna Krabappel is Arwen.
Which then needs casting for Galadriel, Celeborn, Wormtongue, etc.

Oh, and Maggie has a cameo as Elanor.

I like this:
Frodo: Bart
Sam: Milhouse
Gandalf: CBG

For the others, I would do:
Merry: Nelson
Pippin: Martin (it would be fun to see these two try to get along)
Aragorn: Homer
Legolas and Gimli: Lenny and Carl
Arwen: Marge
Boromir: Moe
Gollum: Ralph
Elrond: Otto
Galadriel: Lisa

This cast could be played for a lot of laughs. Just imagine Ralph as Gollum. "Me lose the ring? That's unpossible!"
