it was on this great day, July 1st 1867, that British North America became The Dominion of Canada, and had there own government. This was the date that confederation happened.

hows that, thats how my teacher taught it to us this year.

Happy Canada Day!!!

I love Canada. I've only been to Ontario and Alberta, but hope to see more of your beautiful country some day.

On a personal note, I came very close to being a Canadian citizen -- after WWII my parents applied for Canadian visas, but were turned down.

However, the US granted them visas, so they immigrated here (where I was born).

Actually, left handed people are the only people in their right mind.

(In class I learned that the right side of brain controls the left side of body and visa versa.)
