i dont like much rap but he is one of the only rappers i like. i like pretty much all of his songs.

I like Eminem purely because he says what he says to make people have reactions to him, and they all do. It's great. Some of his lyrics are mental, yes, but some of the more recent ones are really quite good. I really liked Stan and the Real Slim Shady and Lose Yourself.

I know practically nothing about Eminem other than having seen 8 Mile (which was a pretty good film), but I generally find that from an economistic standpoint, rap is the "music" of the modern proletariat.

I heard a funny mp3 at my friends house, I think the name of the song was The Real Slim Shady anyways... this is how it went: "Will the real slim shady please shut up" and I think there a few more spoofs out there on his songs

And I don't like rap altogether, so the answer to your question is no, he doesn't rock.

I don't like rap, and I don't really like any of his songs. But I have more respect for him than other rappers...because he doesn't rap about money or cars (Bling-Bling). I HATE that!

I hate Eminem. His voice is really deep when he talks but when he raps he sounds like a Powerpuff Girl. And some of his lyrics are REALLY disturbing. But I like Lose Yourself. I can relate to it pretty well.

I cannot STAND him! He ranks up there with Avril. He drives me crazy! I mean, he was OK at first, but hes getting big by dissing on other ppl. That is just NOT cool. lol

I like him. He's a great rapper. His music, lyrics and rhymes are better than any other rapper's.
I hear American rap all the time on the radio, and we have quite a few rappers in Sweden too. Going to a French school, I've also listened much to French rap. Generally I don't like any of this rap music since I'm a "haute-bourgeoisie high culture snob" like IronParrot. But it's different with Eminem. His rap is like art. I really enjoy it.

Oh don't be so elitist, CBG. There are good rappers out there - particularly from the early developmental years of the genre, like Sugar Hill Gang. Run DMC were good as well. Plus Debbie Harry did a pretty good rap on Rapture as well.
