Pirates of the Carribean
Hey fangirls geuss what? Orlando Bloom's doing another movie. And I started this thread becaues I want to know more about the movie and I couldn't find anything. So please if you find anything post here!

I'm not sure what the movie's about but i saw sort of a preview thing on Extra or Access Hollywood. I don't usually like pirates, in books or movies, but it looks like a good movie.
I'm not sure if it's an Austrailian movie but if it is i hope it comes out in America too. cause i really wanted to see The Ned Kelly Gang or Ned Kelly or whatever it's called but as far as i know it hasn't come out in America yet.

Yes, it's based very loosely on the Disney theme park attraction (though I really wish they'd keep the "Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me" song... so catchy). Basically it's an uber-pirate-flick, a bit swashbuckling Errol Flynn, and even a bit Jason and the Argonauts (what, with walking skeleton warriors and all).
It stars Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom as our heroes, and Keira Knightley (Bend It Like Beckham, and Queen Amidala about half of the time in The Phantom Menace) as the damsel in distress.

hmmm of what i have seen on Pirates of the Carribean it looked pretty crap but ill probly go see it anyway, theres another pirate movie with Russel Crowe coming out soon aswell (or is it out already?)
and its Ned Kelly and it is going to be out in America its just Australia got it first thank god.

I am REALLY looking forward to this movie, and I hope it's good. I have high hopes because of Geoffrey Rush being in it, and Johnny Depp has been good in everything I've seen him in.

I am VERY excited about seeing it. I actually found out several months ago. Pirates of the Carribean is one of my fav rides at Disneyland and it would be GREAT if they included the Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho theme song. Also seeing Orlando and Johnny Depp as pirates. I can't wait

I got to see the trailer for it tonight -- it looks like it could be really good or kind of cheesy. I hope it's the former. Orli looked younger than he did as Legolas, but he sounded the same (it was kind of funny hearing "Legolas" but seeing a completely different person.) (He still looked good, though -- he has long[ish] hair again!) Anyway, this will be one of my "must see" movies this year. I just happened to go to Disney World a couple of weeks ago and went on the ride, which was always one of my favorites.
