Do any of you think that your good at poetry? My friend says that I have real talent! What do you guys think?

The Last Breath of Life

As I looked into your eyes
While you lay bleeding to death
On the soft green grass,

You looked into my eyes
With a softness I had never
Seen in you before,

Then I knew that
Outside your bitter image
Was a sweetness,

Even though I've known
You for only a short time
I feel like I've known you
For all eternity,

And now that your last
Breath is soon to come
I know that I will never
Know more of your soul,

Now as your chest stops rising
And then falls one last time
Tears fill my eyes thinking of
One last soul that is lost.
