Once all 3 dvds have been released...

Once we have the theatrical version of ROTK, I'm sure there will be the box set forthcoming. I wonder if any additional footage will be added to FOTR and TTT in addition to the extended ROTK release? It would be a great selling point.

They have to have many hours of as yet unused footage. I sure hope they do add more!

Any thoughts?

that would be really cool...the only problem is waiting for 2 extra months after the release date for the extended edtition to come out!

LOL BTW, I'm thinking of having a LotR party when all three ex. editions come out, watching all three in row. It's gonna be awesome

I hope blooper outtakes will be included; I find them hilarious. Elijah Wood's audition tape (where he dresses up as Frodo) would be interesting as well.
By my calculatations, the extended editions of each movie will be about 3.5 hours long each, and ROTK perhaps 4 hours, the whole 3 movies will take 11 hours to watch! And that doesn't include the DVD extras. Sounds like a relaxing day.

The more hours available the better in my opinion! What better way to spend college holidays than watching back to back LOTR for hours on end! I'll have to get my best mate down from newcastle and have a party with all my crazy London friends! Bloopers would be great- can imagine Orli cracking up in TTT with the "Shall I describe it to you? Or shall I find you a box?" Mx

i hoped to see that on the dvd's anyway, seeing as it is EXTENDED, but it wasn't on there

if there is a box collection, they'll probably do a gift thing with it (like the FOTR ex. edition had book-ends)

I wouldn't want to see that many! (all three, back to back, snnnnnxxxxxx! ) I would like to see the complete, total and entire, "be all, end all", extended edition though. (I'LL need a new bookshelf for all my PJ LoTR DVD's though! ) I wish they would put together an additional "what might have been" version, with Arwen going to Helms Deep and any other offbeat ideas PJ was considering. I'm so curious!

Well if I can find venue when it comes out in a few years time you're all perfectly welcome- wonder if one of the posh London hotels would put up with a bunch of crazy Mooters for the day- it'd be a scream!!!! Mx
