I just finished the LotR trilogy...what next?

I just finished the LotR trilogy, and want to read another JRR Tolkien book. What one do you reccomend?

this has been done before but...if you haven't read the hobbit you might enjoy it. On the other hand for something completely different but totally awesome (in the old-fashioned awe kind of way) you can try the Silmarillion and delve into the depths of Middle-Earth. If you like it then you can continue deeper.

Yep. The Silmarillion would be next, and then Unfinished Tales. Closing.
