So who's going to be the big villain this time? Steve from the Dell commercials? (I'm really curious about this)

Hi Sween!
Steve is a "Pitchman" for Dell computers. He has saturated the airwaves here in the US. He's a young man who is funny yet slightly annoying, reminds me of a harmless Eddie Haskell from "Leave It To Beaver" 1950's sitcom. He always says "Your getting a Dell dude!" He's a little bit gen Y-ish. Skinny, geeky, wiseguy with a great smile...People seemed to like him, so Dell proceeded to use him repeatedly. You know, an actor who has been made famous by his "role" in a commericial! I bet he never dreamed that would happen!

Gen X are old now! (over 28!) They've been busy growing goatees, having large weddings and buying way too much baby paraphenalia. Lots of "swank and cool" cocktail glasses and funny looking eyeglasses too! "Steve from Dell" always convinces the "dumb" boomer parents that they should buy their teen a NEW Dell computer, and he winks and says "You're getting a Dell dude"! He's not really annoying, just goofy...I guess. He's funny too. Gen Y is so young, they don't know what they want! That's why all the ads are geared to them (suckers!) I know there are some pretty goofy Brit pitchmen! I watch "So Graham Norton", he's a real gizmo, and there's this one antique show where they send two teams out. They each buy antiques and then sell them at an auction. The team that makes the biggest profit (or loses the least) is the winner. That guy is funny. I always remember the old lady saying "WHERE'S THE BEEF?" (for Wendy's hamburgers, she'd lift the bun of a hamburger and yell WTB!) You're too young for that, but I think that started some of the crazier ads. Hey! I thought you loved Big Macs!

Oh dear me no.....

The only thing left for Rocky to do is die (I mean in the script).

I didn't think they allowed zimmer frames into the ring?!

*bump*

I watched Rocky VI yesterday. It was an okay movie I think. The script was good and Sly was in good shape. I was a little dissappointed with Rocky's fight at the end. It didn't affect me like the fights in the previous movies did. Nor did Rocky's training and preparation for the match.

Still the movie is a must see for Rocky fans like myself. It ties it all together. We get to see the boxer Spider Rico from the first movie. Also, the little girl Marie who 30 years ago screamed "screw you creepo" at Rocky, plays a major role in this movie. She's grown-up now and has a son. Rocky's son is grown-up too. Rocky's wife Adrian is not in the movie. Sly let her die in cancer, maybe because if Adrian were still alive, she'd never let Rocky take up boxing again . But Paulie's back and so is Apollo Creed's/Rocky's trainer Duke.

It's a proper ending to the whole series of Rocky movies. The champ, old and with his days of glory behind him, goes for one last match. And he'll fight none other than the reigning undefeated heavy-weight champion of the world. Could Rocky be more underdog than this?

It's a worthy end of a great series of movies.
