Middle-Earth Prison

I devised this R.p.g. whilst watching a prison comedy called Porridge I don't know if you've seen it but it doesn't matter.

A Prison deep in the dark of Mirkwood lies with no conections to the outside world this is where the people of Middle-Earth put the Law- Breakers and Murderers. You can be a prisoner, or a Prison-Guard.

My carachter:

here is my carachter:
Name: zavron
Race: drow
Hair: Long dark Blue
Facial features: Blackish purplish skin, Sharp teeth, Dark purple eyes.
Height: Tall,
Appearance: thin, wears a long Blue gown with special barcode Runes on the back, has a dark blue staff. Staff can be summoned when needed. Prison Guards don't know of it.
Items: Necklace with a turqouise stone on the end wrapped in metal wire. Lightning axe is locked in the weapon hold.
Personality: Evil in nature, consorts with dragons giants and other evil creatures of the world, despises the sunlight and loves the dark and shadows. Sly and sneaky.
Racial Abilites: Infravision, Sneak, Hide, NoSun, Invisibility, PickPocket.

Reason in Prison: Thief, and traitor, caught consorting with evil creatures and dabbling in dark arts.

here is a description of a drow:

Drow elves, like their surface dwelling cousins, are very magical in their nature. The difference between the two lay in the fact that Drow elves left the surface world for a subterranean existence. Drow tend to dabble more in the "dark" arts of magic, and are evil in their nature. Some Drow however are outcasts, and have decided to venture out to the surface.

Drow elves are extremely good spellcasters, and are resistant to magic as well. They are a lot weaker than humans physically, but compensate with a greater intelligence. Drow are not as hardy as most races, but are more dexterous than most as well.

Drow have developed the ability to see in the dark, to sneak up on their foes, and can hide from them equally well. Drow cannot stand direct sunlight, and feel excruciating pain when sunlight hits their skin. During this time they cannot heal any damage they have sustained or recharge their magical energies.

Name: Kaima; so she is named, for she can put you to sleep VERY easily.
Race: Also a Drow.

Hair color: Black
Eyes: Deep brown; pattern is like snake skin. (this is actually true with my eyes.)
Height: 6'5
Appearence: always wears black.
Weapon: Sword and bow
Item: a deep purple jewel, which she inherited from Morgoth.
Specialty: induces sleep, invisiblity, sneak, hide, NoSun....

Good choice!! You can be in my cell!!

I lay on the top bunker making magic swirls on the ceiling. They changed colour and moved about. A voice echoed through the large Prison.

''RECREATION TIME!!''

I slid off the top bunker and walked over to the bars. A fat portly man in a Prison-Guard uniform on and shaking keys.

''Hurry-Up!!! Come on I don't wanna stay in here all day!!'' I shouted at him.

''Mind who you is talking too!! You take that tone again and I'll shove you in the Pit!!!'' He shouted back as he waddled over to my cell. The key slowly turned and the cell door creaked open.

I walked out to join the other prisoners in the recreation time. I went round Nicking things from other prisoners and evn the prison-Guards. I challenged someone to a game Of baldons, which is a sort of game like draughts but you must stop your baldons from rolling off the board and you have to roll your balls to knock your opponents into the dead zone which is a kind of trough around the board, I won the game but of course I cheated. I went to the nearby Window and stared out. Another prisoner was being brought in I watched as the prisoners weapons were taken off he or she was sent inside.

The prison-Guard came back.

''You've got a new cell-mate! It's another Drow.'' he said to me. Then ''Back to your cells people!!'' he anounced to the rest of the prisoners.

I walked back to my cell to see another drow unpacking some little valubles on the bottom bunk. I walked over to the ladder and climbed on to the top-bunk. She said....

I was brought to the prison of mirkwood, there most of my weapons were taken and I was put in a cell with another drow. "Hello." I said, "Who are you?"

''Ok you need to know Prison rules, I'm the second in command around here. Gluglug the Boss and all Prisoners follow him. Also seeing as you're new here you'll get food last sleep last and use the faccilities last. Stick with me and you wont get in any trouble, Got It?'' I said rather fast.

I lifted my eyes, so he now saw them. I looked at him strangely, and if you had seen me it would look like I was just looking at him, but if you had seen me through his eyes, then you would see that my eyes were making circles, and slowly coming towards you. he then fell unconsious upon his bunk. when he came to I said: "What is your name?"

I shook my head again and suddenly in the blink of an eye I was behind the Drow. I poured out a Drink of water an gave the cup to the Drow. I picked up the jug of water and drank from it. I then walked over to the small cupboard I had and pulled out a set of elvish games and boards.

''Want to play?'' I asked profering the games.

I was handed a cup by the drow, but i did not drink. he asked me if I wanted to play a elvish game, I said: "No. I am Kaima. how did you get here?"

I was about to answer when a Prison-Guards voice came to my ears.

''SLOP-OUT!!!'' It said.
''Ahh...Slop-Out.''I said to myself.
''What's a slop-out?'' asked Kaima.
''Toilet Privlages.'' I said simply.

The Prison-Guard came round and unlocked all the Cells. A huge line cued outside one- single bathroom.

''Try to get in before the Orcs if you can! They leave a Frightful mess!'' I smirked and then made my way down the stairs.

I walked back to my cell and stared out of the barred window. The sun was setting beyond the trees. I watched as The guards slowly left one-by-one. Kaima came back.

''What are you looking at?'' she asked as she entered.
''The guards going.'' I answered simply.
''The guards leave! Why?'' She said astounded by the news.
''Once they go the cages open automatically, and we are locked in.'' I replied.
''What cages?'' kaima asked.
''The cages that have the Ghoul Hounds in.'' I said shrugging my shoulders.

I walked over to the bars and watched the last guard press a special stone in the wall. The locks on the bars closed automatically, and a flash ran all the way round the edge of the bars.

''Thats the shield.'' I continued to look out as suddenly the Prison was plunged into complete and utter darknessI heard a slam as the guard closed and left. And then a clang and a growl sounded emitted from below in the main area. The stairs suddenly retracted so nothing could get up. Severeal silver creatures were moving swiftly in the main area. I walked over to the cupboard even though it was pitch black, my Infravision gave me the ability to see in the Dark. I took out a candle and lit it. Around all the floors, except for the main area, lights of candles flared up. I placed the candle on the desk. I took out the elven games again.

''Want to play? There are many hours left in this prison.'' I walked over to another table and placed the games down.

''How in this place is anybody suppsoed to sleep with those Hidden monsters roming about down there!''

''You get used to it.'' I said as I shuffled some cards.

"Whats the object?" he asked.

"You drink this, and then the first person to stab the other person in the heart wins. you won't get hurt if you drink this. Do you want to play?"

''Ay!! that's confusing! The cells only small. Hello, hello! Gluglug called a meeting.''

A small Flag was waving from another rather larger cell up on the level above.

''We can play the game when we get back. Let's go!'' I got up and headed towards the bars.

''How?'' asked kaima.
''Use whatever natural ablity you got.'' I went Invisible and phased through the bars and magic shield. Around were all the other criminals using what abilities they had to get out of their cells.

''Come on then!'' I shouted through the bars.

Posts: 1,729	I walked back to my cell and stared out of the barred window. The sun was setting beyond the trees. I watched as The guards slowly left one-by-one. Kaima came back. ''What are you looking at?'' she asked as she entered. ''The guards going.'' I answered simply. ''The guards leave! Why?'' She said astounded by the news. ''Once they go the cages open automatically, and we are locked in.'' I replied. ''What cages?'' kaima asked. ''The cages that have the Ghoul Hounds in.'' I said shrugging my shoulders. I walked over to the bars and watched the last guard press a special stone in the wall. The locks on the bars closed automatically, and a flash ran all the way round the edge of the bars. ''Thats the shield.'' I continued to look out as suddenly the Prison was plunged into complete and utter darknessI heard a slam as the guard closed and left. And then a clang and a growl sounded emitted from below in the main area. The stairs suddenly retracted so nothing could get up. Severeal silver creatures were moving swiftly in the main area. I walked over to the cupboard even though it was pitch black, my Infravision gave me the ability to see in the Dark. I took out a candle and lit it. Around all the floors, except for the main area, lights of candles flared up. I placed the candle on the desk. I took out the elven games again. ''Want to play? There are many hours left in this prison.'' I walked over to another table and placed the games down. ''How in this place is anybody suppsoed to sleep with those Hidden monsters roming about down there!'' ''You get used to it.''
