LOTR Parody
French & Saunders just had a half hour parody of LOTR TFOTR on BBCA, if you get the chance, take a look, it's extremely well done and funny too.

Whew! That was a fast bus ride.
BRAVO network has on "Page to Screen" and features LOTR this month. It has some interesting information and scenes from TTT.

best LOTR parody is Lord of the whatever... a complete parody e-text of the entire trilogy-with prologue and introduction, and a planned appendix.
Sam's a communist, Frodo is schizo, Gandalf is evil and Mordor is a theme park, Merry deals drugs, Pippin is a sex fanatic, and Arwen is...oh you get the picture. It's crazy, but in a good way.

Of him the harpers sadly sing: the last whose realm was fair and free between the mountains and the sea. His sword was long, his lance was keen, his shinig helm afar was seen; the countless stars of heaven's field were mirrored in his silver shield. But long ago he rode away, and where he dwelleth none can say; for into darkness fell his star in mordor where the shadows are. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
