Treebeard Fuzzy Images in LOTR TFOTR Special Features

In TLOTR TFOTR Special Features, on the Sci-FI channel about making TFOTR quite a few people have that little digital thing that makes it so you can't see what something lokks like. A lot of people, including Peter Jackson, have this on their short or ball cap. Does anyone know why this is like this, and what the original images were? Thanks a lot

I think it's either blurring out a brand name or something, because they might not be able to show it. I never really knew why they did that either but that's the only thing I could ever come up with. They do that on MTV a lot and it got me wondering too. I'm not sure if that's the reason though.

Because of copyright laws I think. You can't advertise a company unless you have there permission.

On MTV I'm sure it is because cuss words are on shirts too.

Yes, I think they were just blurring out brand names, like Goldberry1 said. My sisters and I were watching and that's the idea we agreed on.

Thanks, Guys! I don't watch much on the screen except for movies, so I didn't even think about the whole ad thing!
