whos better looking i personally have never seen the attraction of liv tyler shes very ordinary looking in my opinion. I think that Miranda is by far and away more attractive

If you must compare the two.....Liv is voluptuous in the face. Her skin tone is soft, smooth and supple. She exudes youthful ripeness. (whoo, doesn't that sound yummy!

) She has a tall, statuesque, goddess-like frame, roundly and smoothly filled in, not too skinny or "over defined" (with stringy, sinewy muscles). She looks ample, soft, feminine, yet large and strong. Pale creamy white skin, beautiful long flowing dark hair. Jeweltone lips and eyes, graceful movements, She looks like a gorgeous flower, unfolding, revealing soft, smooth perfection and lush, velvety, inner beauty.

Miranda so far looks a little weather beaten, but I must see the movie!

..I try to think of Bebe Buell when I look at Liv. When I was 18, Bebe Buell and Jeri Hall were my favorite models! They were gorgeous, and dated rock guys! The Steven Tyler lip thing adds to Liv's beauty in a weird way, But it's her mother's genes that pull it off! (IMO)

although her dad's mouth is unusual, too) and I think Miranda's forehead is a little too bulgy, too - but I'll have to see more of her, I've just seen little bits in trailers. But overall, both are REALLY pretty!

Here's a question for you guys out there - I think women put a higher value on 'exotic' or unusual beauty, like Liv's, and men just like basic regular gorgeousness. Am I right, guys? or am I wrong, women?

Pretty big question!

Personally I'm a gonner for women with dark hair, pale skin, blue/grey eyes and a cuvacious figure

but I find many women attractive, sometimes I can't really tell why, it can be something as simple as a nice smile which starts the old "wake-up" bells in my brain

IMO many women do put a higher value other womens beauty, especially if their image/appearance is different to their own......cosmetic firms make billions from ladies who want to alter their appearance with hair dye etc to achieve a "different" look

Exotic can be relative. Liv looks somewhat normal to me. I think she's pretty. I think Miranda is sorta cute. Cate Blanchett is very beautiful (and exotic) to my eyes.

Well, I think it's better to judge who's better by acting skills, not appearances. Personally, I've never seen any movie with Liv Tyler or Miranda Otto in it, much less even HEARD of them, until the movies came out. They're both...um...what's the word...er...nice...other than that, my mind's a blank.

) Exotic makes me think of women of other cultures or mixed, like Eurasian or Mulatto (I'm dating myself with that term, I'm sure! ) I've always thought Indian women looked ultra cool, (not native American, but the country). Lots of them have that mona Lisa kind of permanent smile, and that caramel skin, and those big eyes!

Yeah, I kinda suspected Liv had buck teeth! But I can't laugh; I've buck teeth myself, not to mention freckles, glasses-to-be, and some up-coming braces!

Miranda's forehead does stick out a bit, but then again, so does mine!
