I am knew to this site and I don't know what RPG's are, or how you join one, could someone please explain this to me.

You simply give your name, race, weapons, appearance, bio, and you start RPing when the game begins. Welcome to the moot Celebrian.

Some of the games, like the Pentagrid Net for example, involve interactive storytelling. You do as Faramir suggested in the discussion forum for the game that you desire to enter, and if the game is really underway, it is polite to ask before joining as well.

I think there is another kind of Role Playing going on here as well; I've viewed some of their games before. I've never actually played one though, so I can tell you little about it. Those are frequently two player, though sometimes more. With a Game Master, dice rolling is involved too . . . I don't know much about that though, or if there are any of them going on.

You'd probably best just look at some of the RPGs that are going on and see if you want to play any of them.
