Sailing - the neatest of all sports!
Now, sailing is by far the best of all sports. Sleek 12's going for broke in the VOR. The clippers I've seen in the harbour of Helsingör in Denmark and Helsingborg in Sweden (where I live), when they had a sailing fair on. The tv-program "Ocean Race" on TV3 (a swedish cable tv-channel). Truely neat. I'm subscribing to "Yachting World", too. A great magazine.

I rode on a boat ONCE in my short life. I enjoyed it, though - it's so refreshing! I'd love to do it again.

Not that I do it that much...but my friend has a 12' byte, and I've been out in it a few times...really fun!

Wow, that sounds nice Duddun...
I hope to take a sailing class next semester. Currently I'm in Tae Kwon Do, though.

My parents love to sail. And so they take me sailing. Over the summer, we and my grandparents rented a 42' boat and sailed in the greek islands for a week.
It was fun, I'll grant it that much. Would have been even more fun if the rocking of the waves didn't scare me silly . . . and if the medicine I took to keep from being seasick robbed me of my up-close vision. Although . . . considering I expected to sink . . . .

When my sister was living with a billionaire, I was invited on a trip on small sailing ship, around Corsica, for two weeks. Truly the trip of my life. Sun and glittering waves.
