Not quite like I pictured him, but close

I imagined him to be more man-like; a longer face, but I think the fingers on the figurine are a bit too long, and I can't see any toes which are long. Here's the description from Book 3, Chapter 4:
Quote:
They found that they were looking at a most extraordinary face. It belonged to a large Man-like, almost Troll-like, figure, at least fourteen foot high, very sturdy, with a tall head, and hardly any neck. Whether it was clad in stuff like green and grey bark, or whether that was its hide, was difficult to say. At any rate the arms, at a short distance from the trunk, were not wrinkled, but covered with a brown smooth skin. The large feet had seven toes each. The lower part of the long face was covered with a sweeping grey beard, bushy, almost twiggy at the roots, thin and mossy at the ends. But at the moment the hobbits noted little but the eyes. These deep eyes were now surveying them, slow and solemn, but very penetrating. They were brown, shot with a green light. Often afterwards Pippin tried to describe his first impression of them.

He looks like I pictured him as well, though I agree that the finger seem to long.

Pretty much what I imagined. I don't think the fingers are too long.

Is that a figure based on the CGI? 'S not what I pictured at all. I was picturing him way more tree-like...

Everyone who read the book must have an other picture in his head, how this ent look like - my opinion is, he must like look like a great oak, hundreds of years old, thats not very "hasty" - but i´ve not seen him in a trailer.

Well, true, Sween, the Ents SHOULD look like trolls, because if you remember from the books, ents were taken and broken and twisted by "the Dark Powers" [Morgoth] into trolls. Good of Jackson to keep this resemblance....

I think I have an idea where the Entwives got off to. I bet you a dollar to a donut hole every last one of 'em were captured by Sauron and sent to the breeding pits.......can you spell Olog-Hai?

A moral of the whole (after the primary symbolism of the Ring, as the will to mere power, seeking to make itself objective by physical force and mechanism, and so also inevitably by lies) is the obvious one that without the high and noble the simple and vulgar is utterly mean; and without the simple and ordinary the noble and heroic is meaningless." Either that, or they were destroyed during Sauron's scorched earth policy.

Hmmm . . . the skin looks right, but I pictured him as having more bushy, twiggy hair, like the beard.

'that ent was made for fighting that ent was made for fighting'. It is now clear to me we are going to see the attack on isengard.

The fingers are the clue they would not be so long if they were not obvosly the wepon of the ents. dont forget all the Ents are diffrent looking so we are in for some more fun.

It certainly looks funky! Isn't that a "playdoe" (Playdough sp?) ent? Looks like they just squirted him out of a "fun factory".

Is this what Treebeard will look like in the movie? It doesn't look like him in the trailer (from what I've seen). I checked the source and I believe it is a toy of Treebeard. I really really hope so.
