Lines in The Two Towers

CBG, forgive me if there is already a thread about this somewhere. I'm too lazy to check.

Which lines MUST you hear in the next movie, or else you sue? Mine would be Legolas's speech about how the hobbits got away.

"Then pleased with his skill, he sat down and quietly ate some waybread!"

Well, hullo everyone. As you can see, I don't hang out here muchly anymore. There's a good reason for this. Y'see, I've been hanging out at a different chatboard called Cardboardia. So far, I've been havin' a blast. Not that I don't love the TLA, but the magic of Entmoot is lost on me. So, as soon as TLA ends, so will my existance here, probably.

Who knows though? I might stay. Highly unlikely however. This is a good bye in advance, then. Unless you want to join me and my group of friends at Cardboardia.

I love that part too!
I don't if i'd sue for it but i would really like them to include Pippin's line when he first meets Theoden and he goes:
"So that is the king of Rohan! A fine old fellow. Very polite."
i LOVE that part! it is so....umm...Pippiny!

Well I don't have the book on me right now but I like the part where Pipin is describing his meeting with Gandalf for the first time in Isengaurd (sp?)
"And does he say Oh hello Pippin this is a pleasent surprise, no, he says get up you tom fool of a Took and tell me in all this mess where is Treebeard"
Umm, I think that is what he says anyway.
Oh and Gimli beating Legolas by 33 orc heads to 32.
If I think of anymore you will defiatly know.
luv

ps. I think they will defiatly include that line of Pipins where he says "So thats the king of Ronan, I fine fellow" it seems very in keeping with the character that has been created

can i do more than 1? if so...

definitely these lines:

"Damage one of my pans and i'll grind you to mincemeat!"

and:

"If Smeagol don't do as he's asked, he'll get into real true hot water, yes preciousss"

i don't think the second one was exact, but it was the best i could do

those lines are both Sam talking to Gollum

the part where legolas and gimli are talking about going to the caves and fangorn
the part where tree beard is talking to legolas about fangorn and such
the part where treebeard recites part of the long list. and where the hobbits add themselves in.

I love the dialouge between Frodo, Gollum, and Sam when they first speak with Gollum.

"One Ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them"
Would you commit yourpsromise to that, Smeagol?
It will hold you. But it is more treacherous than you are. It may twist your words. Beware!

I have this still to say. No enemy had yet taken the Hornburg. Depart, or not one of you will be spared. Not one will be left alive to take tidings back to the north. You do not kow your peril."

Aragorn at the Battle of Helm's Deep and is talking to the Uruk-Hai

"An Oliphaunt it was! So there are Oliphaunts, and I have seen one. What a life! But no one at home will ever believe me. Well, if that's over, I'll have a bit of sleep."

Sam when he is being watched by Faramir's men.

"See here Captain! See here! What are you driving at? Let's come to the point before all the orcs of mordor came down on us. If you think my master murdered this Boromir and then ran away, you've got no sense; but say it, and have it done. And then let us know what you mean to do about it."

Sam talking to Faramir

From the mouths of the Sea the South Wind flies, from the sandhills and the stones;
The wailing of the gulls it bears, and at the gate it moans.
What news from the south, O sighing wind, do you bring to me at eve?
Where now is Boromir the Fair, he tarries and I grieve.

I was also hoping for the Lament for Boromir but as he died in the first movie and we didn't get to hear it I don't think I ever will.

I want Gimli's outburst when he meets Pippin and Merry in Isengard!
Quote:
You rascals, you woolly-footed and wool-pated truants! A fine hunt you have led us! Two hundred leagues, through fen and forest, battle and death, to rescue you! And here we find you feasting and idling - and smoking! Smoking! Where did you come by the weed, you villains? Hammer and tongs! I am so torn between rage and joy, that if I do not burst, it will be a marvel!
Ooops, I see GTW have already mentioned this one

I'd also like to have Sam's line to Faramir:
Quote:
Now's a chance to show your quality.
And Faramir's reply:
Quote:
So it seems. So that is the answer to all the riddles! The One Ring that was thought to have perished from the world. And Boromir tried to take it by force? And you escaped? And ran all the way - to me! And here in the wild I have you: two halflings, and a host of men at my call, and the Ring of Rings. A pretty stroke of fortune! A chance for Faramir, Captain of Gondor, to show his quality! Ha!

I agree, the orc-cleaving contest at Helm's Deep that culminates with Gimli's 42 orcs and Legolas's 41, where Legolas doesn't begrudge Gimli the contest as he is so glad to see Gimli alive. That was a great example of the deep friendship between the two of them.

Something I don't want to see: Arwen at Helm's Deep! I've heard that she will be there, and that is something amounting almost to sacrilege! grrrrr...

FREAK RAIN!!!!!!!! O.o

Cheers!

I like the part where Legolas says something like," I haven't felt this young ever since I joined you children." Just the thought of Legolas calling Aragorn and Gimli a child is funny . And when Gandlaf has just arrived and he says," Yes, that was the name. I was Gandalf."

Treebeard Treebeard to Merry and Pippin

"Hrum, Hoom. . . Very odd indeed! Do not be too hasty, that is my motto! But if I had seen you, before I heard your voices -- I liked them: nice little voices; they reminded me of something I cannot remember -- if I had seen you before I heard you, I should have just trodden on you, taking you for little Orcs, and found out my mistake afterwards. Very odd you are, indeed. Root and twig, very odd!"
