Two towers in 4 mouths

We dont seem to have a countdown thread or just a what you looking 4ward to most.

WE seem to all know the major changes and what will be the highlights. PJ has said that this is the one that needed most work so this may cause you die hards a bit of hurt and anguish this movie.

What do you think he will of changed/added? Will it be better/worse than fellowship and where do you think it will end?

I think I read some where that the scene with Shelob is bing moved around, so it might be in there or it might not. This makes the ending placement uncertain (at least for me anyways). Let's not start a countdown thread just yet though. I'm really looking forward to the characterization of Gollum and the Ents' appearances.

I'm kinda looking forwards to TTT, but with some trepidation. This movie is gonna be the make or break point for me - if he screws this one up as well, I'm gonna be really upset. I think I must be the only kiwi in NZ that hates FOTR...

Poor BOP. Kiwi...Do you know where that word came from? I mean you use it for yourselves, for those little worm eating Kiwi birds and for the fuzzy green Kiwi fruit. Why is that? Just wondering on the origins of languages.
I'm looking forward most to Treebeard, and the Ithillien scenes, and it's rumored that Sam hits Gollum in the head with one of his pots. *evil chuckle*

We're named after one of our national icons - the worm eating, blind, flightless bird.

(Yes, and I don't know why we were named after something that has no survival instincts whatsoever...) The kiwi fruit was named after the bird - because of it's fuzzy brown exterior. We *could* be named after the silver fern, but it doesn't have the same impact...

I'm looking forwards to seeing treebeard the most, I guess. And seeing some more of Gollum.

I was kinda disappointed that there's probably not going to be the Scouring of the Shire and that Shelob's moved to RotK, but if it helps the story move along, all the better!

I want to see Treebeard.

I want to see how they make Treebeard walk, it is confusing to me. I can't wait to see the Battle at Helms deep. I havn't heard the rumor about Sam hitting Gollum on the head - sounds interesting. It is too early to get excited about the TT, but I'm sure I will start to get excited with a couple of weeks to go. I really hope that TTT is good - just to get BoP on side.

i think that we all wont to see treebeard and the other ents! by the way, they were in the trailer that was shown at the end of the movie in theaters, and my friend told me that ents were in the movie in the part whene trees are being cut down or something like that, but i am not sher! anyways, that is sorda like a rumer b/c she was told that by someone else!

COOL! A MOVIE RUMER! i have never hoord of that before!

However, you make some good points. But -- you've never heard of a movie rumor before? How about the one that in Ben-Hur's chariot race you can see the extra getting dragged by the horse and killed? (not true, but believed by many)

well, now that you brought it up, yes i have, but usaully they are not called movie rumers, but rumers about the movie, but you are still right! maybe if they called it a movie rumer it would sink down deeper! any ways, i trie to stay away from them, because all my info usaully gets all mixed up, and i will not be able to remember if it was a rumer or a fact!

Ne way we probably should get bk to topic. From the preview Treebeard looks very treeish.

I'm an American and I can spell. You'll notice most of my posts are spelled perfectly. Oh well, back on topic.

I, like many others, am looking forward to the Ents, and Gollum. I'm also looking forward to Rohan, Faramir, and more Saruman and Grima.

Thats not true? I hadn't ever heard that until recently when my band director told us because our marching show this year is a Roman thing, and we are playing a song from Ben Hur.
