The Bourne Identity

Did anyone else see it? I saw it on DivX, so the picture quality was kind of bad, but I thought it was a great movie.

nooo

i thought it was sooo bad!!! no plot, just random scenes of shooting and whatnot, they could have made it soo much more interesting if they had actually had something about his previous job, and the fact that he couldn't remember who he was was potentially interesting but i thought it really wasn't well done!

The car chase scene was the best part of the movie. Damon's never played a high-profile action role before, so it's a good change from the usual he does. I loved it. But if I was that girl, I would've never let him cut my hair that short. Heh heh . . . no. Anyway, it's really worth checking out. You just have to like action/drama movies.

One thing I must ask: they were looking for someone with a red bag, so why didn't he just get a new bag?

I thought it was a good movie when I saw it, but I felt that the ending was unrealistic, he should have lost (he remembered everything in the end and should've taken responsibility for his choices). It had some really cool action scenes as well, especially the car chase.

Plot holes everywhere. But otherwise, it was ok.

Elaborate these "plot holes" you so speak of.

Only two - this one, and the 1988 made-for-TV directed by Roger Young and starring Richard Chamberlain.

As for this one: well, it was worth watching once, and I'd say I enjoyed it. I don't think I'll be watching it again, though... and I'll probably forget about it in months.

I think the Bourne trilogy (Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum) ara all worthy movies, and are consistant with one another. I'd take this trilogy over the horrible Matrix sequel and prequel.
