The Emperor of Ocean Park

Having just finished this book, my initial reaction is that it is very good. It reminded me quite a bit in some parts of John Grisham's types of stories (no wonder Grisham liked it so much). I especially enjoyed the chess related parts. Though some of the plot did seem a little farfetched to me, overall, it was an entertaining read. Anyone else read it?
