CNN's the most consistent.

I used to watch Bravo! a lot but then they stopped showing The Avengers and Monty Python's Flying Circus... though they still play good movies.

History - they show good movies... too bad I never have time to catch them.

CBC - during hockey season anyway. And in the fall, at the first session of Parliament... wow, now that is entertainment.

Yeah, ads are a bugger, ain't they? It's why I avoid the public tv channels. Our regional channel - Prime - and sky tend to either not have ads, or only very short ones.

TV 3, TV 4 and Kanal 5 have commercials every quarter of an hour and usually five minute ones. Very annoying.

FX is like that here. I tried to watch a movie (Chain Reaction anyone? lol) and it got soooo confusing because they cut parts of the main plot out to put comercials in. Very annoying.

They're not that drastic on the channels I mentioned. They at least go back to where they left off before the commercial.

You mean all that bleeping (covering up curses) and dimming of certain parts of the actors bodies.

WB (Yes, go ahead and persecute me)
Animal Planet (Can't live without Jeff Corwin and Steve Irwin)
PBS (Only because the Antiques Roadshow is on)
Disney (Even Stevens. I can't resist.)

I think of some more... Wait, one more

The Christian channel that shows Virtual Memory.

Well, hullo everyone. As you can see, I don't hang out here muchly anymore. There's a good reason for this. Y'see, I've been hanging out at a different chatboard called Cardboardia. So far, I've been havin' a blast. Not that I don't love the TLA, but the magic of Entmoot is lost on me. So, as soon as TLA ends, so will my existance here, probably.

Who knows though? I might stay. Highly unlikely however. This is a good bye in advance, then. Unless you want to join me and my group of friends at Cardboardia.

Cheers!

Used to watch long ago:

I used to watch the Cartoon Network but then they turned into a 90% anime channel! Stupid Toonami. Now WB has that too.

I also used to watch Nickelodeon but I've outgrown all of their shows. And besides, all the shows that I liked have been long since replaced by their new line up of crummy shows. Sponge Bob is the only show that if I have the Tv on that channel, I'll watch.

I also used to watch the disney channel . When I was younger it was great. I used to like their "Disney Original Movies." I also used to like their shows. But that was years ago, and I've outgrown those too. Their new shows are really bad: Even Stevens (sorry guy who said he liked that), Lizzie Maguire, to name a few. Boy meets world is the only show I watch that channel for, unless they happen to have a good movie on (which they do once in a while). If I'm curious I'll watch a couple episodes of their shows and see their movies that are on. Its not that bad, its an ok channel, I just don't watch it as often as I used to.

Game Show Network: I used to watch this all the time, but then all the channels changed and I was too lazy to find its new location.

Channels that I do watch:

History Channel
TLC
Discovery Channel (all three have really interesting shows on from time to time)
Nick at nite (technically same channel as Nickelodeon just at night with old sitcoms)
Sci Fi Channel (has great movies on and has cool series like Stargate Sg-1, Farcape, The Outer Limits)
TV Land (this is like a 24/7 Nick at nite with even more shows...I just discovered that I had this channel a few days ago!)
Movie Channels: Showtime, Showtime2, HBO, HBO2, Starz, Bravo, Encore, etc
MSNBC, NBC, FOX, etc

For now thats basically it.

Yeah, but Nickelodeon has Rocko's Modern Life and Rugrats. They rule. (Does it still have 2 angry beavers and Ren and Stimpy?)

Actually, they got rid of Rocko's Modern Life AND Ren and Stimpy. They are long gone. They are also phasing out Angry Beavers. If at all, I don't think they show it too often. Those shows were good. Yes, they still have Rugrats....but I'm tired of that. I used to like to a little several years ago, but Ben was the real Rugrats fan (hes 16 now, you can imagine when he liked that show - and no it wasn't last week - more like 4 years agoish). The new episodes of Rugrats are not as good as the older ones and I've seen all of them.

Ah. We still get Rocko. I'm not sure about Ren & Stimpy. 2 angry beavers was the best one though. It's only on, on Saturdays... when I'm not home!
