Strider Aragorn's elvish

Does anyone here own either the Aragorn mug or the Lord of the rings calender [i do by the way][yes, a little sad i admit] and understand elvish?

Coz there's a line of elvish underneath Aragorn's picture and no translation[!] coz I don't think it's in the book. This has annoyed me for some time so I figured I'd ask around.

Help!

Please.

I don't own either of those two items, but if you'll give me the phrase, I'll try to translate it for you? (Is it in elven writing?)

It's Tengwar, I think every calender picture has a word written in Tengwar.

Arwen Undomiel

*runs and grabs her calendar* I can't find what you're talking about, Polkat, there's a bunch of elvish at the bottom, but it's the same bit on every page, can you tell me exactly where it is?

Gandalf

got bored of using aragorn who was actually relevent so now have pointless icon of gandalf. v cool though.

anyway the elvish that irriates me so much is under the picture of aragorn on the may page. it's underneath the words: "they were men once" and it's not the same on every page [at least i don't think so] as arwen has the words off the one ring [for some unknown reason] across her page.

maybe it's a different calender in different countries. mine's english. maybe i'll scan it in or something. [can i do that?] dunno if am that annoyed though.

er, oh yes. as no one acknoledges existance of elvish at the bottom of the calender have gotten bored and will write it out = scan it in tomorrow.

keep looking. really want to know what it means.

Strider v bad scan

ok this post should have an attached file. i dunno how it will appear but whats on the file i my rather bad copy of the evlish scanned into my computer where upon it became even worse.

if you need a better copy i can scan in the calender i suppose but it has "they were men once over the top of the words so i figured this would be easier, if less attractive.

Sorry. Can't help you. I don't read Tengwar.
