Probably has the nearly the most mistakes spotted because people see it many times and analysed it. I havn't visited that site for a month and now they have double the mistakes!

Some people just have too much time on their hands. Which I suppose that any movie as big as FotR will inevitably get picked apart bit by bit. Now if it would only hurry out on video so that I can check some of these out for myself.

Personally, I think you can't help spotting some mistakes. like the 'dead' orc. Right at the end when Aragorn is running to Boromir, (dying) a 'dead' thing lifts up it's head to watch!!!

I generally don't notice mistakes very often...(still haven't seen the car!) but I'm beginning to see them more. Maybe that's not such a good thing.

are all these mistakes valid - the 'dead orc' thing , could be stunned , could be in his death throws , could be pretending to be dead etc - in a battle with sharp weapons it is possible to be hurt/concussed/bleeding to death , was aragorn supposed to go around them all slitting throats.
ok thats one down , 108 more to go ! Maybe Balin had been eaten by the orcs after he was entombed , would greedy mountain orcs leave the body of a dead enemy lying in state , I think not , they would remove his codpeice and use his head as a basketball . 107 to go ....
