Getting Tolkien books

Is anyone else having a hard time finding some of the books of the History of Middle Earth? I've been lucky enough to get 11 volumes ( Harper Collins soft cover), but have had Book of Lost Tales 2 on order for 1 month. I've ordered through Chapters/Indigo here in Canada and have been told the book is out of print.
Also can anyone recommend the reading order of the HoMe books?
I've started with Vol. 6-9 ( the history of LotR) since I couldn't get BoLT2.

It is certainly not out of print in the U.S.. You might want to try ebay.

As for "reading order", it entirely depends on what you're interested in. I read them as I got them, which was out of order, and still I haven't read much of some of them. I like best Volumes X, XI and XII, though my favorite Tolkien writing is in The Book of Lost Tales.
