New teaser poster featuring Pillars of Argonath
It was up, but TOR.N pulled it under orders from New Line before I got a chance to save it.
It looks great. |

Re: New teaser poster featuring Pillars of Argonath
That would be an awsome poster. That's my favorite piece of preproduction art.
IronParrot? No way! I remember you from the tfn forums! I doubt you remember me, though. I was an annoying little fan boy named Rakkohr Clan Tsahhgor, but I've since "grown up", as they call it, and seen the mythological side of sw. Anyway, good question, Shanamir. Anyone able to post the original? --Erewë |

I can't wait to see that scene on the big screen. How awesome it will be....and NOT like "awesome dude".

Re: New teaser poster featuring Pillars of Argonath
What's wrong with "awwwwweeessooommeee duuuuuuuude!"??? nah, just kidding...
I think it will be great to see it too, I just hope that they manage to make it ass huge and threatening and fantastic as in the books... (I know threatening might be the wrong word here, perhaps menacing is better? anyways, what I mean is that it fills all those unprepared with awe when they see it, and I hope that they manage, at least to a certain degree, to reproduce that feeling onto the big screen... |

Uh oh, the board censored out the word "cr4p" in the link (scr4pbook) where 4 = A.

Torn have uploaded the poster again, it looks brilliant. I beleive it looks better than the one with Frodo holding the ring.

It's almost exactly like the John Howe picture of the Gates of Argonath. That's why I love it...

Big hands are a good thing.......nm. The statues look awesome, The kinda thing that will bring tears to your eyes when seeing it for the first time on the big screen. Maybe even the second or third time on big screen as well

Here's a link to the image I use for my desktop background...
http://www.groovywallpaper.com/lordo...sA1024X768.jpg Pillars of Argonath is one "pane" of the montage. The site has other neat images for wallpaper. |

If you ever have problems with the links you've posted to the poster, you can always look at it on the main page of the Middle-earth Vault.
