It Was So Cool!

I just saw the new trailer on Fox! It was AWESOME! That movie is going to be GREAT! (It will be big competition for TTT in the Ocsars next year!) Yoda was levitating! AHHH! I CAN'T WAIT!

It was awesome, but not nearly as cool as the trailer for LOTR: that sent me into epileptic fits
Oscar competition? For what, SFX? that's the only category SW ever has a chance in, and ILM has gotten lazy. You can tell just from the work in the trailer, specifically the mat paintings and the Yoda work, that they are no competition for WETA.

The first Star Wars trilogy was great. But I'm getting tired of the whole "long time ago galaxy far, far away" thing. I want to see Anakin turn to Darth Vader, though. Star Wars Ep. II will be better than 95% of the movies of the year, but it won't hold a candle to the Lord of the Rings. Anyway, The Two Towers will be better anyway, just based on the names. Attack of the Clones, anyone?

What clones are attacking? Or are there no clones? I've wondered ever since I knew what the title was. Oh WELL. I wasn't able to see the new trailer...will it be on anywhere anytime again...preferably soon?

No, I don't think Yoda was levitating. I would think it's probably on anti-gravity (whatever they call that in StarWars).

Comparing LotR to Star Wars? Debatable, but I like them on different levels. The first trilogy was so stellar that people expect impeccable results for the prequels. It's not going to happen. I love them any way.

I looked back at it on the internet, I saw a small round disk he was sitting on.

I like the scene near the end where there is a ring of Jedi with lightsabers out surronded by a lot of flying stuff.

If you still suspect this one's going to be a love story, you haven't seen the trailer.

I got the tinglies watching it.

I agree Nibs, though I'm perplexed why people are so upset that an ELEMENT of the movie is a love story.

Well, people were getting their undies in a bunch thinking that it was going to be just a love story. I was skeptical about that theory from the beginning, because Yoda and Obi-Wan are the only Jedi around (that we know of) by episode four. Something happens to all those others between episodes two and three.

Actually this movie is mentioned in Star Wars when Obi Wan is telling Luke about his father and the Clone Wars.
