An Avatar!

I want to get one, but I can't seem to find any pics that haven't been used or that I like.. any suggestions?

And BTW: why is like every pic of an elves on google pics of santa's helpers?

pictars of your self or something youve drawn always works nicley on the original scale
just scan it, and downsize it.

or find an aim icon and "modify" it , ike i did, in microsoft paint

But I don't have access to a scanner. I would love to put in this awesome drawing I did of me as an elf, but... oh well. Maybe I can get someone to do something for me... I would like to get a pic online, though

Okay, I took the liberty of finding something for you.

Here is what it looks like on a larger scale, but unfortunately we can't have them be this big. At least you will have a better idea of what it looks like. If you don't like it, you can change it....my feelings won't be hurt or anything.

I dunno about Nariel, but I think it's really pretty! Good job, Anduin. I'd like an avatar myself. I don't know how to download pics off the net (don't tell me to right click, I have a Mac!) and the rents won't let me use a pic of myself, so I guess I'm pretty much stuck, for the time being at least.

right click on a mac is just

HOLD CTRL and click

if that doesnt work then its

HOLD APPLE and click

then u should get the general "right click" style menu!

Thats cool. Why don't you try Google's image search. That is where I found that pic. If you find one and don't have a program to make the pic smaller such as Photoshop (or whatever you Windoze people use) then send me a URL and I will make it the proper size. If you find a picture of something but you only want part of the image I can use that too.

Same to you Galadriel. Oh and BTW, Macs rule....don't they?

If Windows is so awful, why is Bill Gates worth about $50,000,000,000 dollars? Which is quite a bit of money. I favor Windows, but I have never used a Mac enough to trash it.

The only reason I dont' like Macs is because until recently, I couldn't do any big project at home if I wanted to work on it at school as well, because I have a PC and the Macs were incompatable until this year.

I've used Macs profusely, but I highly prefer PCs. I actually like Windows, except that it should have more shortcut keys. I like MacOS even less, but it does the job, and I can't blame any one that prefers them (except those UFO-ish mouses - I abhor, despise, AND hate those things and desire to hang the person that created it with the selfsame mouse he designed).

Away from homicidal tendencies, where were we? Still on avatars? Well, I still think I'm the wrong person to ask. I think a picture of yourself works quite nicely... take mine, for instance. On second thought, take some one else's for instance. Some one normal. Wait... does any one but myself and Wayfarer have their own picture as their avatar? We need some balance. Some normal people need to put their pictures up. I mean, it looks like Wayfarer has an afro and me... well, let's just say I'm a fanatic.

Are you going to juggle that beaker of acid, rabid monkey and porcupine?? You'd better wear goggles.
