Re: Regions of Middle Earch
Here we are folks
Geography of the Middle Earth by myself  Starting with the map of the Beleriand from the north-west to the south-east Lammoth Ered Lomin Fjord of Drengist Hithlum Cirith Ninniach Dor-lomin Mts of Mithrim Mithrim lake Mithrim Ered Wethrim Eithel Sirion Swamp of Serech Anfauglith (Ard-galen) Gondolin Taur-nu-Fuin (Dorthonion) Aeluin Ladros Himrirg Maedros marches Lothlann Nevrast Swamp of Nevrast Mts Taras Ivrin Ered Wethirin Tol sirion Teiglin Malduin Brithiuch Amen obel Brethil forest Crissaegrim Dimbar Mindeb Ered Gorgoroth Nam Dungoretheb Neldoreth forest Dor Dinen Himlad Celon Small Gelion Great Gelion Mts RErir Helevorn lake Thargelion Belegaer Bitthon Birthomar Barad Nimras Eglarest Falas West Beleriand Ginglith Narog Nargothrond kingdom Ringwil Nargothrond Amon Rudh sirion swamp Taer-en-faroth Balar isle (baie de Balar) sorry don't know how to translate this Arvernien Nan-Tathren Aelin-Uial Sirion Doriath Esgalduin Menegroth Region forest Aros Celon Nam Elmoth Estolad Andram East Beleriand Ramdal Taur-in-duinath Amon Ereb Gelion Mts Dolmed Belegrost Nogrod Ascar (rothloriel) Thalos Legolin Brilthor Duilwen Adurant Tol Galen ossiriand Ered Luin (ered Lindon) That's it for The first age and the Beleriand Now for the Middle Earth as we know them today Not nearly as much stuff cause only 1/4 of the map actually is describe Farlindon Harlindon Ered luin Eriador Minhiriath Eneduaith (aronr) (the () indicate a death kingdom) (Angmar) Forodwaith Northern waste Rhudaur Eregion Dunland Bruinen Mirherchel Glanduin Gmothlo Lhun Barenduin Isen Rhovanion Rohan Anorien Anfalas Gondor Lebennin Ithilien Harondor Umbar Haradwaith Khand Gorgoroth Nurn Mordor Rhun Anduin Dargolad We can add Lothlorien and Taur-Fangorn and we got a good I won't start listing all the important places like Barad Dur Dol Guldur Isengard Minas Morgul Minas Tirith Edoras Helm Deep Morias Rivendel Bree Hobbitown to name only a few cause i would have to pick all my RPG book and as someone point out they are product in order to make money and not by Professor Tolkien I hope it would help If i ever come to see you just ask and i'll bring my map with me |

Re: Regions of Middle Earch
I was actually just teasing, although I see a few non-canonical names in your list. You must not be using a Tolkien map.

Re: Regions of Middle Earch
You're not a native English-language speaker, are you? I suspect that what I'm seeing as "non-canonical" names may be due to mis-spellings (Dargolad instead of Dagorlad) due to accidental typos OR the results of translation (such as "Fjord of Drengist" instead of "Firth of Drengist" -- virtually the same thing).

Re: Regions of Middle Earch
You don't need to apologize to me for handling English better than I handle other languages. I'm just sorry I didn't realize there was a language factor involved sooner.
