Update on the LotR DVD

Heres the story:

"Peter Jackson has spoken about the Fellowship of the Ring DVD to The Evening Post in New Zealand.

He says that a "special edition" will follow in November. The video and DVD release will be in August, as previously announced. The Post says that the August releases will be the same length as the theatrical release.

But the November special edition will have 30 minutes more footage. Jackson killed a rumor that's been circulating about what's in the footage:

"It's all drama. There is this thing on the Net about all this gory stuff I was supposed to have shot, but I didn't. We were going for a (censor's rating) of PG13 and you can't waste time shooting stuff that you know is going to get cut."

But this doesn't jive with the CNN story from a couple weeks ago, which said the director's cut would have an extra hour and a half and include the Two Towers trailer.

Oh, I don't know. I'm just gonna buy it anyway. "

Ya know what? A friend of mine told me today that his uncle has the LotR DVD. Is that a bad joke or what? I was in agony!
