The realms in Exile

Is it just me or is 110 years not enough time to found the realms and organize them and build cool numenorian stuff (tm) and organize the last alliance.

Or is it just me. Elendil is all high and mighty, but still you's think building all 7 fortresses would take a long time.

Well, he was not alone.
I mean there were not only the Numenorian that arived with the nine (or was it seven?) ships. Several of the Numenorian left the isle long before its fall and dwelt in Middle-Earth.
Elendil and his son's builded only two cities: Anuminas and Osgilath. Minas Isil and Minas Anor as well as Isengart and Aglarond were strongholds. And on Amon Sul Elendil only builded a tower nothing more. I think that can be done in 110 years.
