Suggestion

You thought this thread was by Emplyxn (ms?) didn't you? Anyways, could we make a new forum titled "introductions" or something like that? Due to the movies' succes and popularity (yay!) many new members have come and many more will. No offense to the newbies (can I even call other people that, I'm really one too), but the General Messages seem to be primarily new people coming in and saying "Hi!". Unless I'm mistaken this board is more for talking about anything you want, rather than introductions.

Yeah i am very new and i didn't see anywhere more apropiate to introduce myself. However at a few other boards i have posted at there is a welcome forum and at one in particular it is very busy and very popular. Of course not everyone uses it but the vast majority do and the threads tend to end up a little chatty and off topic but that is no bad thing it is just people getting to know one another.

You should think about it.

yeah, that way the General Messages forum wouldn't be flooded with Hi, I'm New posts and I'd be able to tell them apart from each other so I can give my greeting!

I also suggested this to an Admin earlier, and he said that most newbies would probally would not see the introduction thread so it would not work.

Yeah that's true but if it were a forum, where all the new people can make their own threads proclaiming their newbity, then it would be found easy.
