Gandalf Tiny walls in Rivendell

Did you guys notice that the walls on the patios of Rivendell came up to Sam and Frodo's waists, they must have been really short walls!? I think that was a little oops be PJ.

Oh, but that must have been the Halfling quarters. Bilbo was there, I mean, hello...

mistakes

there are bound to be many mistakes in such a complex production. My favorite is during the council of Elrond, Merry and Pippen run into the council. Obviously this was done as a composite shot, with actors looking at points in space where the dimunitive hobbits would be running. Hugo Weavin (Elrond) is looking to his extrem right as Merry and Pippen pass in front him.

These types of things happen in all movies if you look closely.

But the bench Bilbo was sitting on was human-sized (his legs were dangling) while the walls were still hobbit-sized. I think it must've been a mistake, but does it really matter?
I didn't notice that about Elrond, all I remember is that he had a really funny look on his face when Merry and Pippin ran in there. He looked like there was an annoying fly buzzing around his face.
