a good fantasy series

if you want a good fantasy series to read, pick up one of george r.r. martin's books in the Song of Fire and Ice series. the books are a game of thrones, a clash of kings, and a storm of swords. 4 more books are expected.

Right you are. Love these books. The only fantasy series that I've found to compare to Tolkien's in that the author has created an in-depth world that a reader can really believe in. Also, I love that you can never quite trust Martin not to kill off main characters!
