Gandalf Is this a good edition of LotR?

The Lord of the Rings (Illustrated Edition)
by J. R. R. Tolkien, Alan Lee (Illustrator) (Hardcover - November 1991) (from Ebay)

I am considering ordering this or the regular hardcover boxed set...any recommendations? They are both by the same publisher
